QUESTION: I have indicated Dual citizenship, but I can’t find the Country 1 dropdown box. Help…?

O.O It has begun…

WHOO! let’s DO this, 2013!

These may be stupid questions but…(no such thing as a stupid question, only people stupid enough not to ask the question
- AP Bio Teacher)

Can you save your work on the Common App? Like fill it out partially, then save and come back to it? (I’m assuming the answer is yes to this but I want confirmation).

How exactly do you get your counselor/Teacher to fill out their respective portions?
Like do you send them a link or something?

When are supplements posted(I know it varies, but roughly when will most be up)

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Also I thought this was sort of funny.

"Within 30 minutes, 300 individuals had registered an account. The first registration came from Plano, TX, less than one minute after the site went live. "

How much do you want to bet that this person came from CC

@JuanitaRebel: Yesss you can save it and come back. You fill in their email address, I believe, and it’ll send them all emails about it.

And I’d bet everything I have (which isn’t a lot, but still) that the person from Texas is also a CC member. That is really funny actually.

Wellll, class of 2013, here we gooooo!

@JuanitaRebel

Lol…
That should’ve been me. :|

The real challenge is the first person to submit their full application to a college. Including recommendations, essays, and everything else. The full 9 yards. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

^I wouldn’t want to be the first. you set the standard that everyone in the college is goign to be compared to.

^I was joking. If I was to be the first to turn my college app in, then I most likely didn’t take my time filling it out or revising it.

This is probably a dumb question, but does anyone know if you can change the information you registered with? I want to make an account, but I might be moving in the near future. I just want to be cautious through the whole process.

Is it possible to change the address based on the particular school? I have residence in two states, so I want to put one address for 2 common app schools, and then my other for all the others. Thanks!

I do not have a home phone, but the site won’t let me continue with my registration until I complete that field. Should I just put my cell number?

Soupsong: The Common App FAQ addresses that issue here: [I want to create another version of my application](http://s3.parature.com/link/portal/5494/5524/Article/104/I-want-to-create-another-version-of-my-application)

Acciokatelyn: Yes. You can change your permanent address at any time using the “Applicant” tab.

Marinex: Yes, provided you will have access to that phone throughout the application process.

Do college admission officers see the user names chosen to create Common Ap accounts? Should they be chosen accordingly? User names cannot be altered once created, and unfortunately, you cannot ask questions to the Common Ap people until you have created an account (and by then it would be too late). Perhaps Mr. Wolfe is online and can advise?

DDHM, I can’t think of a reason why you would make your username something you don’t want admissions officers to see.

DDHM,

No, colleges cannot see your User Name.

Also, you CAN ask questions before you register by visiting the Support Center: [Support Center](http://s3.parature.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=5524)

That said, if you do have an account, it’s always best to contact Support while logged in. Doing so transmits important information about your browser and OS that can help us answer your question.

WW

Thank you. Because that contact link asked for an “email (associated with an account)”, I had assumed that you already need to have an account to use it.

The concern about user name was because some user names are memorable but somewhat frivolous and might not be exactly the image one wants to portray! (Of course, maybe Adcoms like creativity…?) Some user names (and emails) are obviously inappropriate to use, however.

What is my “conselor’s title?”

Am I stupid, or is it really just “School counselor?”
