<p>The 2012-13 Common Application will launch on August 1, 2012. The current year application (2011-12) will shut down on July 15, at which point all applicant accounts will be archived. You will not be able to access any 2011-12 account information after that point, and nothing will carry over to next year. All users will need to create new accounts after the August 1 launch.</p>

<p>A pdf of the 2012-13 application will be made available within the next week or two at commonapp.org. There are no substantive changes to the application, and the essay prompts will remain the same.</p>
