<p>$ 9,000 a year for room and a meal plan is still cheaper than many other universities.</p>
<p>Keep in mind that the Governor tried to cut state funding to Penn State and other state-related and state-owned universities by 50% several months ago. The final cut was 20%, but then the Governor recently froze another 5% of Penn State’s funding.</p>
