Innocence and ignorance were the 2 angels. For that story, one of the questions were what did the author never take a side on. I put that he never said who had the hardest time or something. it was like explicitly from the text

Oh yeah the oysters and mussels…I think I put that it allows to know “how” they helped the coastal environment

I remember that they had described the son multiple times…if i’m thinking of the same question you’re referring to, I think that the one thing the author didn’t elaborate on was which generation of owners had the toughest time running the business.

lifestrife - Include the dash phrase because it clarifies why the mussels and oysters were beneficial to the coasts they were farmed in.

Thanks a lot! I put that, but I was doubting myself because I didn’t reread the passage, you know?
Now on to the 5-8 weeks of waiting!

^ thats what I got (to the firm stance question)

I might have gotten a 36 on reading. :)

@ 1 eye -

I think it gave you slant height of 3 root 3, and it was a 30 60 90 (x, x root 3, 2x)
Which would mean one base side was 3. The perimeter of the base is 12.
And it would mean the hypotenuse was 6 - so the edge height was 6 each which would equal 24. I think the answer was 36, if I remembered all the givens correctly.

was the author neutral for the reading?

intheo-

there were 8 sides so 8 x 6 = 48

I put admiring because she said about how it was an amazing trip of a sort.

@ jetskid

I think he admired her. If I am remembering correctly.

Marky mark

Oh yea the base wasn’t 12! It was 24! Because half the base was 12. I caught myself on that problem and changed it

So the answer was 48, i’m pretty sure

What did you guys put for the one that said, cork was distinctly different from this. It was either bulk, wood, or trunk. I put wood I think

and for the english one of the answers was either cooled or cools, i put cools but im not sure

I put wood.

and I put he admired here also. He said in the beginning her paintings were “brilliant” and he later said her journey was impressive for her time

is the ACT superscored? I think I did good in reading/English but possibly terrible in math and I don’t even know about science…

@ 1 eye–
I got 12 for a side, but I don’t remember if the question asked to find perimeter or area of the base?

I put wood too, hopefuldawg. That one confused me though

HopefulDawg - I put wood, too.

jetskid102 - I wrote that the author admired her.

hopeful- it was wood

jetskid- i had cools
