<p>My daughter and friend are flying home for Fall Break. I have been researching different options for airport transportation. Any recommendations or recent positive experiences? I do see that the University has a service (reasonably priced), but the times would leave them waiting at the airport for several hours – not the end of the world if need be. Thanks!</p>
<p>Ask around; dorm, sorority, HC, everywhere. Someone will definitely be driving to or through Bham Wed, Thur or Fri, then back from or through Sunday. DD had to wait an hour to be picked up by a pledge sister passing through Bham on her way back to campus. It was no big deal. She had her iPad to keep her busy. If your “student” is traveling with someone, they have each other to keep them company. Good luck!!</p>
