I’ve heard results come out today? Is this true for transfers as well?

Where did you hear that they come out today?

Not from the school but from online forums like this one

we’re lying to you - we wish it came out today (27 more HOURS!)

I have a countdown as my screensaver
I’m so nervous/excited to find out if i got in or not

It is after midnight 12/13/11 and the 2012 summer/fall housing portal is down. Anyone with any luck with housing yet ?

It has happened before that you could login at I believe 6pm or so and the system would tell you whether or not you were accepted. Whether that happens this year or not is still unknown. I would however not make special arrangements to just sit in front of my computer at 6pm and continually refresh the page though hoping for an answer. Whether you have to wait until midnight or not, the world won’t end.

The housing applications should be up later today. Just because it said it would be available on 12/13 doesn’t mean that it would open at 12:01 am. Most likely that won’t open until they open up the decisions, because they don’t want people applying before finding out they aren’t yet accepted.

It says on the Online Status Check page “An admission decision will be available on December 14, 2011 at 12:00 AM.”. So that’s when you’ll find me lurking. :)

"According to our records you have not been re-admitted to Florida State University for the term and year you have selected. You cannot apply for on-campus housing at this time. If you selected the wrong term and year, please return to the login process and submit the correct term and year. If you wish to verify your student status, please contact the Office of Admissions at 850/644-6200 or visit the office web site at [FSU Admissions](http://www.admissions.fsu.edu). "

^^^
Same message for me, except this same message appeared
new starting this morning.

Same message this morning. Does this mean I didn’t get in?

I don’t think that message means anything. Housing should only be available after admissions decisions are posted and that’s probably just a default error since no one has officially been admitted yet. Best of luck tomorrow! I remember seeing the fireworks last year - best day of my life!

It means you have not been “re-admitted” - even if it said “admitted” - you have to wait until midnight to find out.

My housing status page changed again to;

“University Housing will be accepting new applications for the Fall 2012 term beginning 12/14/2011… Please return at that time to complete your Housing agreement.”

&&&& my admission status page, no change- same message for the past two months…still waiting…

We’ve come a long way folks…9 hours left

Hopefully, only 3 hours as the first waive of admissions
will start showing up @ around 6:00pm/

According to who davviddj?

Hopefully, they open early! But I’m strangely looking forward to staying up all night in anticipation of this decision! I made a long list of things to do while I wait…

The OFFICIAL time that everything is released is midnight. I cannot stress this enough. But, if you log on around 6 tonight and everything is there saying you are admitted, be happy you found out early. Yes, this has happened before, but DO NOT COUNT ON everything being up at 6. It’s quite possible that they figured out what happened last year about everything being released early and have made sure it doesn’t get out early.

Best advice is to check at 6, and if it’s up, congrats, you’re already ahead of the game. If not, be ready to check around midnight (and be ready for the entire system to crash. I know I’m not expecting to be able to be on Blackboard at all tonight with all the new applicants checking).

I remember getting the email from FSU around 12:15am telling me I was accepted, but being unable to login to find that out until almost 1.

Check your account statement under Secure Apps. I found out a little early–it showed that I owed money :)
