The PH question. Like, seriously, you were able to rule out two answer choices immediately, but, there was no info about PHs whatsoever. Seriously? This was like a 50/50 chance in getting it right.

And the last section of the Science, my god, I absolutely did not like that. There was probably no misprint, but jeez, this science curve had better be lenient.

As for reading, screwed that up so badly. Not to mention, the reading curve will be quite brutal -__-

I’m wondering, too, if colleges take these state ACT scores. My guess is that they do. If we took the ACT for high school graduating purposes (because our state requires it), do we still get our scores online when they come out?

@mmprl1997: I believe you get the scores through mail. Because you didn’t [technically] register online, I believe they will send you a mail of your scores. Though, they could have found a way to access into your ACT account or something and posted the scores.

Though, because it’s state-wide, these results should takes less than 2 weeks. Shouldn’t be too long to be honest.

Really? Because the counselor who administered the test at my school said it would be 5-8 weeks.

Also, yeah, the pH question really threw me through a loop. The graphs were screwed up with the voltage one though. It talked about voltage gain when all of the graphs went down, and then talked about percentages when there weren’t any on that particular graph, nor was there a mention of them in the description section.

The statewide ACT results count, and can be used exactly like the national ACTs. It is the same thing–just administered a bit differently (all juniors in high school required to take it on the same day as opposed to an individual signing up for a Saturday session).

OH my gosh, that math…don’t get me started!! honestly, those problems just took me so much longer to do! that was the first time i was just filling in random bubbles to get it done. all the other sections were fine for me, but i’m kinda scared for how they’ll curve the scores.

The ph question was really confusing but I think it was greater than 7 because the solution was basic. The reason is because the passage talks about how the concrete is made of a “alkali-silica” thing. Alkali means basic.

Man it’s impressive that you guys still remember problems… I can barely remember anything… This week sucks for Juniors lol… In Michigan at least… The MME is annoying

someone said they thought we would get out results in 2 weeks. is that true? my proctor said 5-8 weeks. and will it be coming by mail or posted on the act website like normal?

Do you think you could link to the specific place on the ACT website where it has the info about receiving the scores from the state test by mail first. I have been looking everywhere for that info and can’t seem to find it. Appreciate your help.
