<p>I’m concerned… I switched highschools during my senior year and I’m not exactly sure what date or month I started at my new hs… and is it going to look bad that I only attended it for a year on my uc app? I got my diploma and approved tag for ucsc… but should I be concerned about this or is it nothing? if I put the wrong dates are they gonna reject me? helpppppppp!</p>

<p>I’d say your post high school ECs are average, but not lacking.</p>
<p>If you do include your high school ECs though, which you should – there’s even something you can choose in a drop-down menu, when adding ECs, that indicates pre-collegiate activity – you’ll be golden.</p>

Prereqs: Will have all but one class (Discrete Structures) done by the end of this Fall. All completed after Spring.
IGETC: Done after Spring.
Essays: Decent but not amazing.
EC’s: Dean’s list every semester. Not much except for a little volunteering. This is my weak point.
Additional information: Latino and and disadvantaged economically. Despite the law, does race play into admissions at all?</p>

<p>@hm: call your highschool and ask what date you started and ended. I’m sure they’ll know. Oh and call and ask if it’ll look bad on your application. Theyre very helpful. What schools are you applying to? Major?</p>
<p>@RockoZ: in everywhere. Good job!! UCLA will kinda look down at the face that you are missing igetc classes but I doubt it’ll be a big deal. I do think race matters. They want the schools to be as diverse as possible so youre good. Good GPA. Make sure your personal statement is great because numbers aren’t everything</p>
<p>guys i have a question. My TAG got accepted, but i want to change my schedule. In the Art area, I put i will take Art for spring, but i want to change it into Music which is also in the same area…

That doesn’t matter if your future classes aren’t the classes youll take for the future. I’d say you’re fine. Don’t worry. If ur still nervous about it, call and ask</p>

<p>oh I didn’t see your previous message. I’m applying to ucd ucsd uci ucm ucr and I’m tagged to ucsc. I really want irvine it’s my top choice and my major is world history = not impacted and few prerequisites so I have a good shot right?</p>

<p>@Hm: PRE reqs only matter for UCLA AND BERKELEY…(and at all UC’s IF the major is impacted) in your case I’d say you’re good to go. Is your GPA good by any chance? 3.2+?</p>
<p>Thank you for the response. By “after” spring I ment that it will be done with the classes i’m taking in spring. To complete IGETC i only need like some random history class.</p>

<p>Major: Bioengineer / Environmental Engineer / Applied Mathematic (depends on what’s school)
GPA: 2.72
Applying to: Every UC’s except Merced
IGETC: All completed
Major Pre-req: All Complete
EC’s: Clincial Care Internship, part founder of a non-profit organization, Pre Med Club Members, Student Government, Part-time Job.</p>
<p>The catch is I been here for four years and I still want to get at least an UC’s. Any UC’s but Merced.</p>
