<p>Linguistics and Asian languages and cultures still for UCLA. Global Cultures for UCI. But I feel like it’s going to be seen as “fluff” classes. And I feel like I might only get a 3.2 by the end of this semester. My online teacher just pulled a fast one on me, dropping my grade to a low B.
Then Psycholinguistics and Linguistics Anthropology are being total jerks. The rest are going fine.</p>

<p>UCI I’d say you’re in even without tag. Your major is not even impacted…I’ve seen peopl get in with 3.3’s for linguistics…you know, you can always appeal to UCLA. You’re good for UCI. No worries. I suggest you apply to more than two UC’s just in case</p>
<p>Those are really the only schools that concern me. I don’t want to go to far and yeah UCI is my UC backup. My backup backup is CSUN.</p>

I’m Armenian. And pretty happy that I could write “European” instead of Caucasian on the UC apps haha. Have you checked out last years threads? I’ve seen a couple of linguistica majors admit into UCLA. You have tap too. That’s a huge plus</p>

<p>UCKITTY: I remember last year…tag applicants got their results mid march and non tag got their results like around April 25. The thing is since they won’t be having a ton of tag applicants this year, maybe non tag applicants will get ther results ealier. </p>
<p>Oh and we both have the same stats 
just different major lmao. I asked my counselor what my chances are and he said I’m 90% in at UCSD. And he’s usually right. So I’d say you’re 90% in at UCSD and in at UCI :)</p>

<p>haha NO dear, i am a CCC student i did the take in september and got it approved on the 15th, but I’m still looking into UCI and UCSD, oh and UCSC too. but mainly UCI and UCSD.</p>
<p>OOOH my bad. Judging by what my counselor said…and that we both have non-impacted majors…you’re in at all. I have a 3.33 after fall and you said I’d be in at UCSD. So I’d say the same for you!</p>
