Applying to UCSD, UCD and UCB
GPA - 3.89
Tag to UCSD
Major - Electrical Engineering (not impacted at any of the schools)
I have enough ec’s and have a good personal statement.

Im concerned because I’ll be short a physics course and differential equations course from the major prep.
ucsd and ucd require the physics course but ucb doesn’t.
Idk if this will also affect my tag to ucsd.

Hi, I am applying to all of the UCs,
Community College Student; wants to transfer as a Chemistry Major:
-TAP/Honors Program Certified
-Calculus 1, 2, and 3 completed
-General Chemistry 1 and 2 completed
-IGETC Completed
-Community Servce, Campus Involvement, Jobs, etc
-current GPA 3.82

@ blackmamba: Yeah thats exactly what im worried about. I am currently taking the first calculus-based physics for science majors and will probraly end up getting a C in the class. I was wondering if I should drop the physics class this fall, and take it in spring for a better grade, OR don’t drop it and complete it with a C and take the next physics in the series

hey guys, i have a question. If my tag got accepted, can i just submit my personal statement with out proof reading? Is there a chance to get reject?

Hi everyone! I hoped someone could chance me.
I am applying to:
SDSU (all prereqs completed) CalPolySLO(missing a prereq) UCLA (") UCSC (") UCB (all prereqs completed)
Gpa: 3.61 (may be 3.64 by end of fall semester)
Major:Psychology

ECs: Student group which provides social support and academic resources to immigrant/ underprivileged students (Outreach); " " dedicated to increasing awareness about social justice, the environment and personal well-being(member); Participate in group therapy alongside a clinical psychologist as a mentor to at-risk youth. (I have a lot to say about this very influential experience in the personal statement.)
Work/Other: I work about 25 hrs/week, 30-40 hrs/week summer and winter breaks. I am the first in my family to attend college and have worked to pay/will continue to pay my own tuition. I feel where I come from, unique family circumstances and other struggles make me a diverse applicant.
Concerns: I know Berkeley is a reach and am wondering if I should/could instead apply as a Rhetoric Major and then switch into the Psychology major once I have been admitted. However, if I could write a stellar personal statement, would I have a chance at Berkeley as a Psychology major?

I WISH THE BEST TO EVERYONE DURING THIS STRESSFUL APPLICATION PERIOD AND THE MONTHS OF WAITING THAT WILL COME AFTER.

Hi if you google UCLA admitted stats majors or something like that, it’ll give you the expected GPA for each and every major. I wish I knew more about psych…

LOL You’re not the only paranoid one. They ask you to update in January. Trust me. Theyll email you. You won’t miss out on a thing. Once you get accepted they ask you for your transcripts (only UCs). Private schools are different. So don’t worry. Go to sleep lmao!
