Anyway, I talked to my counselor who is like the king of chancing lol and he said I’m 90% in at UCSD because my major (sociology) isn’t impacted. So I’d say the same for you. I think you have a really good chance. Let’s see what others have to say.</p>

I saw on 2011’s UC acceptance thread someone got accepted with a history major 3.3 no tag. So yeah just a couple more months of waiting.</p>

<p>It’s impacted at UCLA I believe. Mostly everything is impacted there. At UCSD and UCSB…I’ve seen people with3.3+ get rejected…its said that it isn’t impacted at those schools but a lot of people last year were rejected prob because of too many tag applicants. Um idk bout UCD…probably not.</p>

<p>Comm is one of the most impacted/competitive majors at UCLA. Also, I don’t believe any school considers your alternate major unless you are TAP certified for UCLA? Someone correct me if this is incorrect.</p>
