I agree, yet I disagree. I understand that many of us cannot wait for decisions to come out &nd that maybe we need to be patient. However, in order to deal with our anxiety we need to figure out logically where we might end up in the near future. I guess that we will find out sooner or later where we will end up this upcoming fall. Good luck to everyone! :]

@tbuiznis: I am not familiar with your major nor do I know much about “4-year to 4-year” transfers. Because your GPA is currently at the low end you have a shot at Merced as well as Santa Cruz. You might have a chance at Davis/Irvine. Santa Barbara might be a long shot. However, I feel like you’re extra-curricular activities and your essay might actually help you out. You’ll find out shortly where you will get in! Sorry, if I was not much of help. Congrats on Riverside! :]

@ucbtransfer: Are you an international student?

yeah i am lol

^*** how were you rejected from SDSU? Your gpa is great. Did you tag to UCSD?

@Acoustickitty123: I dont even know why they rejected me. I sign up for Ulink to UCSD and I feel a lil bit weird cuz it’s not the regular TAG that requires 3.5 GPA. The Ulink requires only 3.0.

I wonder if those who are in the second batch ( if get accepted) will miss the first school option. Or they will be chosen to the alt. major perhaps?

Thanks guys!

I am currently studiyng at a CCC and I am trying to transfer to UCLA, UCSD or UCB for civil engineering major (Structural engineering for UCSD). My GPA will be around 3.47 at the end of this semester. I am going to apply coming Fall and I will be done with all my GEs, Math, Physics and G Chem by the end of next spring. I won’t be able to apply for TAG with UCSD because of my GPA is less than 3.5 by the end of this semester. I have a lot EC work too but I know they do not make much difference. what would be the lowest average GPAs for these universities for the above majors. What can I do to make my application stronger.
My main target is UCSD’s Structural engineering program and I would like to know the average GPA for this program.

zcarfaz- Im pretty sure you can still qualify for tag to ucsd as long as your gpa is above 3.5 after your fall semster. You should look into that.
