Your Banner used to say Summer Sessions, right? I was thinking about your major, I’m hoping you have great news because the faculty has already made their decisions. I wonder if any people applying for Art and Film see these changes as well. As for me, I’m going to pray that the reason I don’t see any changes, is that admissions isn’t finished yet.

Is it a good sign if I can see my financial aid status? I wasn’t able to see it before but now it says housing:on campus, parent contribution: $xxxx, student contribution: $xxx

I was wondering the same thing! Financial aid and admissions are obviously two separate processes, but I feel like it would be nothing more than extra busy work to have FA process information for students who aren’t/won’t be admitted – at least that’s my logic.

Also, question for everyone – has there been any evidence that people who could see their major on myUCLA in the past weren’t admitted? Going through all of these threads is informative, but also a nightmare sometimes – gets hard trying to keep track of so much information!

Hello to all, by the way – I’ve perused these forums for some time now, but with the big day getting so close, I had to finally jump in on the conversation! :)

@UCDrone My banner used to say summer sessions.

@sarah I think it’s a good sign. Mine shows the cost and whatnot and how much I am expected to contribute. I cannot see my actual package though. It says no awards available.

@bruinhearted These tricks proved to be very accurate from what I’ve seen from previous posts/threads. There are a few rare cases where individuals are able to see all the tricks and were denied.

@HopingToXfer thank you! I guess all we can do at this point is cross our fingers and take deep breaths, eh?

Even with having decent stats, I’ve literally had nightmares about receiving my decision – like the kind where someone has to run in the room and wake you up to make sure you’re okay! Ready for this wait to be over. Need to regain my sanity!

Are we supposed to enroll in summer session in order to get access to MyUcla? It’s exactly a week from the official results, and I am running out of patience with the decisions… :(

My FAFSA on URSA says “Financial Aid Document Tracking” and to the left of that it says “No Request” and that means they haven’t received my FAFSA? Even though my FAFSA was complete and turned in on time.

When I click “Access” I get:
Document tracking functionality is available ONLY to continuing UCLA students and to admitted students, who have completed their Statement of Intent to Register (SIR).

If you are a newly admitted student and have received a Provisional Award Letter (ePAL), please ignore the information below – Financial Aid Office is in possession of your financial aid application. Once you have SIR’ed, if there is any additional information needed by the financial aid office, we will contact you via e-mail.

What does this mean? Does anyone else get the “No Request” also?

I did the summer trick yesterday, and there are no changes for me today. ‘At least I got into UCSD’ is what I tell myself to keep me from burning a hole on the monitor refreshing URSA so much. T.T I hate you all for getting me into this SAW-like game. xD

@Hopingtoxfer
Mine is the same as yours!! I’m thinking either its a good sign or it just means that they’ve evaluated our applications maybe??
Who knows.
I don’t want to get my hopes up too much though

I think college of letters and sciences applicants will start to see indicators next week. It seems that the only people that have had any indicators thus far are engineering applicants.
