3) myUCLA banner?
Got access this morning, then it said my major - admit - college.

@thiscannotbe, the first two indicate that there was an issue with your URSA account setup. did you select “New Student” when you created your Logon ID?

I didn’t mess with the summer session settings and what not, but it was great to have the first sign of acceptance be the official one. Patience pays off.

Accepted

couldnt log into MyUcla or Ursa until about 4:20 pm (on 4/20, lol). the SIR button was there on URSA at that time. official decision site was up around 4:55.
didnt mess around with summer session so i couldnt log into ursa to check all the financial aid and housing stuff.

@chewbacca, you don’t need to mess around with summer stuff to access URSA; that applies to myUCLA only! for URSA, you just have to set the account up with the proper enrollment status (New Student). congratulations on your acceptance! :)

Justine you better get into Cal :)

I hope soooooo! 6days6days6days :)

@justinetruant - I registered as a new student. I think the reason why I couldn’t see anything was because they delayed my decision by a day. I still can’t see my FAFSA tracking (from looking at myucla).

Accepted! (20-Apr @ 17:00)
Major: Anthropology

Financial Aid Awards package on URSA
Yes, although it said incomplete.

Access Housing Application
At first, but then this “unavailable” popup thing came out. Now, I can access it again.

MyUCLA Banner
First white, then “Anthropology Admit College”, then white, then back to “Anthropology Admit College” about an hour before the decisions came out.

The tricks and signs may be indicators if you see them, but it also doesn’t mean anything for your admission status if you don’t see them. I’m in with a 4.0 as an English major after 1 year in community college (AP creds) but I didn’t see ANY of the tricks. Don’t disregard the tricks, obviously, but don’t freak out prematurely if they don’t show up for you :slight_smile: Good luck!

@rainy, excellent point! :slight_smile:

we only have POSITIVE indicators – not NEGATIVE ones. if you have 'em: be happy; if you don’t: don’t worry, be happy ;)

@philosoup

for this trick, how close to the decision release date does it have to be to work? I’m guessing that since they haven’t come out with freshmen decisions yet, they probably haven’t even reviewed transfer applications. Ahhh so excited!!!

nice trick, gonna try it this year, really hope I can get in lol, bless bless

@mushroombbq Have fun paying the non-refundable registration fee for the summer sessions.
