Has anyone talked to admissions lately? Do you guys know what time they release decisions at?

This is ridiculous. I TAGed and should know by now.

for the people that already got accepted, can you see your financial aid award? I heard it wasn’t supposed to show until april but not really sure

^No not yet. But it says that it will start showing up in late March and that you will get an email when it does show up.

^ thanks a lot! I guess I should worry about getting admitted first…

@Chelzmcnamara: Yeah I think you would not be able to see the financial aid award unless you got accepted. I didn’t receive the financial aid package from UCR until like a week and a half after getting accepted. I got accepted to UCSC on the 19 and still no financial aid stuff.

Oh I see. I thought that they had to make awards for every applicant by a certain deadline…but I guess they only work on them AFTER you’re admitted. thanks

Misery loves company! Haha. I Just joined, so anxious and on the edge of my seat. I’ve worked so hard to finally transfer to college. UCSB is my dream school, I already have a place to live set in place, I have so many friends who go there, and family members. I’m a Psych major, have a 3.76 GPA, have fulfilled all of my requirements with Business Calculus in progress, and did TAG. I was accepted to UC Santa Cruz, but I know I won’t be as happy there. Good luck to everyone! If you’re a Psych major and were accepted, shoot me a message! :)

@alissabv: Welcome to our struggle! lol. From the looks of your stats and tag you look to be in good shape. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. =]

@alissabv Psych major admitted to UCSB here, too! It was my third choice but at the moment I’m leaning towards to SB over my other two choices (Irvine and San Diego - I have low hopes of getting into either anyways). I’d be pretty happy to SIR to SB if it came to that :)

Sent from my HTC Evo 3D using CC

Just checked and saw the glorious: “You’re admitted!!”
ACCEPTED!!!
Major: Political Science
GPA: 3.46

my gpa is sort of saddening to me but I think it’s my EC’s that have helped

oh btw no email…so I guess just keep checking like I will be for SD now…
