♠ 2012 UCSB Transfer Decisions Thread ♠

I’m sorry. =\ Mind posting your stats? My decision is still pending and I feel like I’m hanging by a thread here…

I am only missing one calc course that is required to declare Econ as a major at UCSB. I am planning on taking it this summer prior to transfer. If I SIR with SB and then take that class in the summer am I able to declare a change of major prior to starting class at SB so I am begin taking the upper division Econ classes? I’m afraid of going to SB as a poli sci major and then getting stuck there as one. My major gpa is a 3.79 and my CC gpa is a 3.5. Any advice/constructive is welcome.

Got waitlisted @ UCSD, come on UCSB i’m counting on you!!! I’m getting tired of this waiting game…

I’m pending too…

Yay =] You guys can have my old SB sweaters.

^^^ @ AllFields: LOL. We need to hit up UCLA’s bookstore to get some new sweaters and cool accessories. hahah

Think I’ll get a license frame while we’re at it.

^^ Haha yeahhhhh!

@Swagandtag: I never applied to UCLA :)

Still pending!!!

@iDizzle- Haha I was being part serious. I know how expensive school
sweaters are and I don’t need 3 UCSB sweaters now that I am transferring. I’d give 'em away.

UCLA is worse! I heard the bookstore is crazy expensive. I was trying to get hand me downs from my bf’s sisters :>
The accessories do look cool though. I want a laptop case and pennant for my room.

@Philosoup- Fo sho, let’s all get the same one and drive the streets together like a gang.

^^LOL. Yeah the UCLA sweaters are like 50. All the other UC sweaters are like 30 bucks/

I know. Outrageous.

Are only the sweaters sold in the book store considered legit? Maybe I can get one at kmart

The reason why UCLA is so expensive is because of their extremely high demand. UCLA has stores worldwide globally.

I love how I always saw UCLA gear at my local Walmart and the second I get in, everything is gone because of baseball season -__- My mom checked. Nothing.

I don’t know where else to go so I’ll just wait for PILOT. I’d rather not order online.

^You’d be surprised at the amount of collegiate wear that Kohl’s carries online. The last time I checked they had quite a bit of stuff clearanced as well ($3+). You could always look take a look and see if you find anything!
