<p>Yeah, I got accepted sort of late too. It seems to be random.</p>
<p>JPoStrong- careful with the SIR you can only SIR to one UC. You will get in trouble for SIRing to more than one and they will find out because they talk to each other. Plus the deposits are non refundable. And you pay $100 when you SIR. You can however accept a UC and a CU.</p>

<p>I rejected the offer for admission as well. I wanted UCSB as a backup incase i only got into ucsb and riverside. its too much of a party school for me. i hope the best of hou who want to get in.</p>

<p>Yes, but that’s the major activity of choice. I went to Cal Poly, which was also a partially party school and also top notch engineering school, people there went to SB to party. Lol. While there were groups that didn’t party at Cal Poly, It was always noisy on weekends and difficult to concentrate. Anyways, I hope it helps.</p>

<p>I didn’t have enough money to apply to all the schools I wanted and only 3 UCs offer Geography as a major–LA and Cal being the other two. I knew I didn’t have a chance at LA or Cal, so SB was my #1 choice, along with USC. </p>
<p>I’m reallllllly happy!!! I really don’t know what I would have done if I had been denied since Geography is so rare.</p>
