<p>@stormageddon Hey even I am an ee major transferring to SD. I am completing chem over summer and the ucsd counselor did tell me it doesnt matter what classes u complete for un-impacted major. Btw have you taken circuit analysis classes? Also where are you transferring from?</p>

<p>I’m really happy and grateful that I got picked off the waitlist…but dayum it kind of sucks. Nothing is up and running on TritonLink/MyApplication. No school email. No fin aid info. Not able to sign up for orientation, new students page is now gone, and I haven’t even received any emails from my college (ERC) or the school itself–except for the SIR payment confirmation email. It’s so nerve wrecking for me, cuz I like to get everything done early -__-. And what’s funny is when you contact admissions or fin aid, they keep telling us to wait!! I waited long enough to get picked dammit, the least they can do is have that information ready ASAP. Makes me so nervous!! I wonder how much longer we have to wait for this information…? :/.</p>
<p>Ok I’m done with that…I know my position isn’t as nerve wrecking as still being on the waitlist…so, with that being said, good luck to all of you who are still waiting for a decision and hang in there <3 I’m praying they stop making y’all wait and release the rest of the decisions this week!!</p>

<p>@shiizz First, congrats on your acceptance!!! I feel very empathetic towards your situation and to all of us in our academic struggles. For those of us still on waitlist (like me) STILL waiting to those who have been admitted and need to wait even more, I just have to say: we can’t give up! We can sure as hell cuss the **** out of them–but hey we are all obviously “exemplary students” and these little hiccups will be all for the better!!!</p>

Thank you. You’re so right. I feel your pain as I was on the list myself until Thursday’s release of decisions came along–it was a total surprise. Again, good luck to you and everyone else on the list, I’m sending positive vibes your way 
!! The wait is definitely worth it all…I just needed to let out some this worrying. Idk why, but, I have a good feeling most of the people on the wait-list will be accepted this year <strong>knocks on wood</strong>.</p>
<p>@shiizzz Thats odd… I can see my Financial Aid and I was just accepted off the waitlist as well. And the website says the e-mails are made in batches so we’ll probably get ours on monday-ish once they know who is going. Or they will be evil and makes us wait till they are done with waitlist admissions completely. And I think nothing is up and running yet (new students page that is) so that everyone gets a fair chance at signing up for orientation and stuff. Its easier for them to just clump us all together most likely.</p>

<p>I can see the estimated rewards and costs and such. However, when I try to view my FAFSA info it says that I never sent one for the 2012-2013 school year. Idk man, that type of error message for something as important financial aid just makes me nervous…I’m sure you’re right though, it will be up soon, I’m just honestly a bit tired of waiting and not knowing whats gonna happen for sure. I hope they don’t decide to be evil and make us wait till July 1st, that would suckkkk lol -__-.</p>
<p>haha right? i dont wanna wait for the email because I wanna join the UCSD official groups and stuff on FB that require the email. We’ve been waiting so long its hard to keep sitting here patiently. I’ve been lookin up the rec classes, clubs, and sororities and stuff to keep myself occupied. Cant wait to actually get down there! :D</p>
<p>Yesss haha exactly, same here!! Seriously…I’ve lost all my patience, we waited from November till April, only to find out, we need to wait another month…and now more waiting!! SO SICK OF WAITING OMG LOLZ. Haha same!! I visited the campus yesterday and took a ‘Triton Tour’. It seriously got me super stoked :D!! So yeah even though the wait SUCKS MORE THAN ANYTHING…it will definitely be worth it in the end!</p>
<p>if they’re going down the list by GPA’s and someone has already gotten in with a 3.30 does that mean they skipped the people who have higher GPA’s? </p>
<p>i really hope they give me a decision tomorrow, i cant put off my plane ticket for orientation for davis any longer. i’m going to be so mad if they accept me and I already spent 200 on a useless ticket.</p>

<p>@Nitole and Shizz I got my UCSD email all set up. My financial aid page also says that they have my application and that they’ll notify me when they I have been awarded.</p>

<p>What?! Lucky…everytime I try to set it up it says “No UCSD electronic mail information was found for student PID = ‘a********’. Is this your correct PID? If not, please enter your student PID and last name, and try again.”. Anyway, the Facebook network page you can join by going to your FB: account settings, general: networks. Then search for UCSD, and when you try to add it, it will prompt you to enter your UCSD.edu email.</p>
<p>After thinking long and hard I decided to SIR to UCSD. And what do you know, the payment page for the $100 SIR deposit is currently undergoing maintenance and is unavailable. So now I’m stuck on Step #3 on the acceptance process and can’t get any further. This would actually be pretty funny if the deadline wasn’t tonight at 11:59pm.</p>
