<p>Do you have to send money? I just reply to SIR. The day is almost over. I didn’t know we have to pay a fee or something. Can someone answer as quick as possible? I don’t want to wait another year. D:</p>
<p>Ahhh don’t take this the wrong way, but it’s good to know that there are others having the same email problem after being accepted through wait-list. 
I was freaking out cause I know they had already sent out the Housing Contracts to our UCSD emails already apparently! Ahhhh. </p>

<p>When I had submitted my SIR, I didn’t get the $100 SIR deposit as well, lol. It just took me to the SLR, general parent info, and then the actual SIR as well. I’m not sure if it’s because I had already SIRed at another UC or anything. I’m sorry if that’s not much help! :(</p>
<p>Thanks, maybe someone makes a mistake because I don’t see 100 dollars deposit anywhere. Basically, if you submit your SIR and SLR, you’re safe, right?</p>

<p>@adriecali, what do you mean by deposit? I didn’t pay any money. I just send them the SIR. They didn’t ask me for any money.</p>
<p>@adriecali, as long as you can submit your SLR and SIR and then receive a SIR confirmation email I think you should be okay… because I wasn’t asked for a $100 deposit either. </p>
<p>However, I’m not quite sure about site is under maintenance thing. =/ Maybe they’re updating other wait-listers? I say give it 5 more minutes… and if not SS and email them about it? So at least they had a record of you TRYING to SIR lol. </p>
<p>And @Funnyordie, I’m not quite suure! I read some posts from last year and apparently once we submit contracts… there were reps that called us and asked what rooms we wanted? I’m not sure lol. But I think I also read somewhere it’s going to be an online process this year.</p>

<p>I’m unable to pay my $100 deposit as well due the maintainance. Like someone suggested earlier, just print screen the page and attach it with a message to send to UCSD admissions. </p>
<p>I’m hopeful that they’ll extend our deadline by 24 hours, considering we’re still trying to SIR within the time frame that they gave us.</p>
<p>Edit: For whatever reason, some people are not required to pay the $100 up front (or at all) but the majority of us have to in order to SIR.</p>
