<p>Website is updated first. They email you about 30 mins to 1 hour of your status changing. Sadly and honestly, I think that was the last batch…hopefully, I am wrong :/.</p>

<p>@itspat: yup i know the feeling! I got my fair share of celebrating last weekend :stuck_out_tongue:
I got the housing email a day after they extended the SIR deadline (yesterday) so yea roughly 1-2 days, the email has info about your ucsd email too, just activated it today! </p>

<p>btw does anyone know how to be invited to the UCSD facebook group? :)</p>

<p>Kpxcsfcubt: Check the website. When my daughter was admitted off the wait list last week, she didn’t get an email telling her to check her status. Didn’t get it then, and didn’t get it later. In fact, she never received an email saying her status changed. If she had relied on email, she would have likely missed the SIR deadline.</p>

<p>And, when Nitole posted that she had been accepted, my D’s application still said “waitlisted.” It didn’t change for a little while after we knew others had been accepted. I know UCSD accepts in batches, but in our case, for whatever reason, their was a delay in finding out D was in the batch.</p>
