** 2012 UCSD Transfer Decisions Thread **

@ snizzle77: My brother transferred in fall 2011. He got into UCLA, Berkeley and Irvine. He got rejected from UCSD and UCSB. So AB12345 is right. You never know.

Mind = blown

u cereal?

my bad homie. <3

I remember they said they were finalizing transfer applications like over a week ago; then they said that decisions will be released in rolling basis thru out April. I hope we dont have to wait until mid-Apr. :(

^^ LOL! 10 char

Expect getting it the last day :(

Anyone know what is the date of second batch release last year ?

^^^ In the UCI thread UCkittychen says 4/14(UCI) and 4/22(UCSD) based on last years transfer threads.

^ OMG ! that’s stun T_T

Lol -.- only like 3 more weeks :0

Hey all,

So I’ve been looking through this thread and a similar one from 2011. (I’m also anxiously awaiting a decision.) From what I gathered from the 2011 UCSD admission thread, it seems the next batch is to be released around the third week of April (I could be wrong, but thats what happened last year according to the thread) and people also received decisions in the mail, online, as well as on the last day. It seems many who heard back on the last day were waitlisted. I’m really hoping I hear back earlier than mid-April.

How many batch were there last year?

According to a UCSD Admissions Twitter post this morning: “Transfer applicants: rolling release of decisions, next one scheduled mid-April to end of April.”

So mid April then end of April 2 batches?

@newchapter14: lol. that’s not rolling!

I don’t know, their wording is kind of confusing… when they say “next one scheduled mid-April to end of April,” that sounds like the next batch could come at any point during that time range… maybe I’m reading it wrong, though. That would suck if that were the case.

@iDizzle You’re right! Why do they say rolling when they really mean it’ll be on a specific date three weeks from now? They’re just giving us false hope and making us more anxious in the process. Bunch of teases.

^^^ Yeah. lol. They can’t just redefine “rolling”!

yeah rolling sounds like a set number a day -.-

Anyone els having problems with the housing application? It’s down for me saying that it is only available 7am-midnight

Mid-April seems like a long time from now! Maybe we should start saying ‘two weeks from today’, or ‘two Mondays from today’ ;). Just to make it seem like it’s closer
