This website mentioned that UCLA transfer admissions will be released on the 20th.

^^ That’s what I mean, when you log into the UCLA decision site it still only says late april.

@moon9: Oh I see. So what is this College DNA site?

edit: Oh i see… It’s some uc counseling business. blehhh. Oh well. Either way, 3 more weeks for all the schools.

ucsd is acting funny.

They are behind so they push back their “decisions date”… as usual

*** a queue to log onto myapplication

The mid-April release of remaining transfer application decisions has been moved back to end of 3rd week in April.

sigh ><

Should we start counting down for UCSD next release LOL

Last Years notices came out 4/17/2011

^^ So just to confirm, how many batches have been released so far? One batch? Were all the acceptances high GPA and TAG people or only high GPA people?

I don’t think only high GPA ppl got accepted in the first batch since my friends who have ~3.8 and ~3.4 both got in.

:|

lol at people trying to analyze the trend. there is none…simple as that.
it is completely random.

^^ SB was random. SD, not so much. UCI only released high gpas in their first batch. Second batch which was around last friday were all TAGers. Random would be nice but SD is definitely not random though.

@iDizzle
Do you have factual evidence that only high gpas got in on the first batch?
What do you have to say about what mangochoko said; his friends with vastly diff gpas got in simultaneously…
It is all just speculation

^^ scroll back several pages on this thread and the other UC threads.

I think what iDizzle means is that most people got in on the first batch were tagged(included those with Region X Ulink), and few that are not tagged but with very high GPAs.

Did anyone who was not Region X TAG get accepted in the first batch.

It seemed as though everyone accepted was from a SD area CC. The GPAs varied from 3.3 to very high. All were above a 3.0 - the cutoff for Region X TAG.

UCSD definitely is letting the Tagged people in first, they been doing that since last year. Then they go onto the non-tagged from Top GPA to fill in whatever spots that are left over.

So when I logged in on my app. It said that they were still reviewing the transfer apps, I know my gpa is super low so I’m not getting hopes up, but I hope so. What’s the lowest gpa admitted without tag?

Sent from my Desire HD using CC

I was wondering the same thing, is ~3.6-3.7 considered competitive for econ or no?
