7 looooong days. what a slap to the face it will be if we get rejected.

6 days left

And 27 days until admit day :D

Thank goodness my Spring Break begins tomorrow. Even if UCSD is my first choice and I get rejected, I won’t sweat it. There are bigger things to worry about.

Six more days

Okay. It’s 5 more days until UCLA release (if the UCLA D-day news is 20th is right) and 6 more days until UCSD’s.

Good luck everyone !

tomorrow & wednesday are going to go by SO slow.
I hate wednesdays so much. I have a three hour photography/photoshop class that day. And guess what we’re going to be doing? the PEN TOOL. ■■■.

^^ LOL. THe pen tool. I hate Mon/Wed because I have a freaking 3 1/2 hour java class. I’m not doing too hot in that class. I’m only taking that class because UCI requires it as a pre-req but I don’t even care to go to UCI anymore. >=|

^iDizzle: MAIN reason why I would never go to UCI with a Sociology major: You have to take calculus and two Computer Science classes. Like What the F do those courses have to do with Social Science majors

^^ Exactly. I applied as an anthro major to UCI. I haven’t finished the calc requirement yet. I took the pre-req computer science class in order to take the Java requirement(which I’m taking now). But now I have no intention of attending UCI whether I get accepted or not so I don’t even care. lol. I don’t want to drop the class because it could potentially hurt my admission for the schools that I still do want to attend. Dug myself into a hole. lol

@idizzle: I feel you! Took so many random classes for other UCs that I wanted to go to at the time. What a waste haha. But if you drop a course, do you really think it’ll hurt your chances of admission to the school even if it’s not impacted?!

^^ Yeah same here. I took multiple classes for different schools. I’m not too sure but I just assume that dropping courses at this point in the transfer process will look bad.

I think you need to notify the schools in writing. What if they are looking at my application than they’re like “This guy looks good…accepted!” than suddenly they receive a letter from me saying that I’m dropping a class. Than they’ll be like “Noooooope !”. lol

What is it with UCI requiring so many more / or random pre reqs for everyone’s major? I’m a history major and while taking four years of another language is recommended at most UC’s it’s required at UCI. I’m not really thinking of going there bc of that.

@ uchappytrain: Yeah they lost my vote. LOL. UCI has been booted from my top 3 and replaced with Davis whether I get into Irvine or not. I’ve just decided to stick with my communications major which i applied to Davis, SB and SD.

Those actually help me. It helps me become more well rounded as far as… i dont know, a broad range of things I can do? I’m majoring in International Studies anyway so it works out.

@iDizzle: I swear! Ridiculous. I heard you can take a year long of Statistics instead of Calc. But those Computer Science classes are pretty hard for someone like myself who has no knowledge of java or C++ lol

^^ Yeah. Oh well, I’m already taking the class. But UCI has plummeted in the UC rankings, so i just don’t really care to go there anymore. The only thing that appealed to me about UCI was just the city and being closer to home, that’s about it.

HAHA same here…but the campus is pretty dead. I didn’t like it whatsoever…but being close to home would be a big plus.

So did anyone have their housing message change?
