I called, they wouldn’t give me any specific info. Just the same “Mid-march until the end of April” line… :(

Their so annoying with that BS…

agreed. that is super annoying

They are who posted next batch will be released on the end of this week. And also they are who posted that official timeline is from mid-March to end of April.

I’m confused.

I hope since the average GPA of applicants is 3.33, they’ll accept anyone that has a 3.33 and above that applied with non impacted majors LOLOLOL

@Acoustic: Do you think that they won’t release the decisions tomorrow ? :(

@acoustic hahaha wouldnt that be great if they did?

@mangochoko I think they’re looking to release some this week and finish the rest off before the end of the month. That’s what I understand from the email they sent me, which basically stated that they’ll give out decisions at the end of the week but if you do not hear back they’ll get to you by April 30th.

@Act when did you get that email?

@Nitole Monday at the beginning of the week. I emailed them concerning their tweet stating that “all remaining transfer decisions will be released at the end of the third week of April” asking if that means there will only be 2 batches (the one in March and the one supposed one at the end of this week).

And has anyone ever wondered why UCSD takes so long if they admit based on GPA and completion of courses (math, english, 4 “golden classes”, IGETC)? Haha you’d assume that someone from their CS department would have made a program where it scans the GPAs and courses and admits accordingly lol. There’s really little human decision needed. Except maybe what major to put you in. Haha really we should have heard back from UCSD in January! lol.

@actraiin maybe there were probably alot of applicants with similar stats, and they can’t allow everyone to come in rofl. Which is why, it took em 3 months to figure out whos rejected lololololol

lol. they need people to do eenie meenie on applicants with similar stats =p.

My housing message has never changed :(. Urban Studies and Planning major, 3.5 GPA and a great personal statement, not that any of that matters. How can UCSD not admit by major? That seems so odd to me…But I’d really like to just know RIGHT NOW (■■■■■ face)

3.76
Tag
Poli Sci; still nothing… Lol these schools are such bull crap; I guaranteeeeee you SD will be waiting until after LA puts out

i got tag for uci, but still heard nothing…

aerospace engineering for fall 2012 transfer anyone? is this an impacted major? i am currently a student at another uc. had intenship and experience in the aviation field. what are my chance?

@redcherrytomato : [Impacted Majors](Capped Majors)

@mangochocko: I think they’ll release SOME tomorrow. Maybe like the second batch and the rest on April 29-30. Wish I knew :/

I swear isn’t that so sketchy? I mean if they admit by GPA it makes their lives easy since they can automatically reject those who arent above their expected cutoff. Last year the cutoff was a 3.23 I believe for non impacted majors but I still saw a couple 3.2’s get rejected.

2nd Batch came out today.

Accepted
Major: Biochem
GPA 3.69

Rejected by UCDavis

also accepted by UCSB last month
