ACCEPTED
aerospace engineering, 6th college
3.85 GPA

^vanwid3r: Yeah I just noticed that my acceptance has “undeclared” as my major. Not really sure what this means…

Accepted
Revelle
Molecular Biology
3.70 GPA
missing calc 2 / both semesters of physics

Accepted

Eleanor Roosevelt
Political Science
3.76
Missing some pre req

TAGed.

Wait, I was rejected. I applied to a non-impacted major with TAG.

What? Like, is this a mistake? I thought it was a “guarantee” for a reason.

Krishalynn: what’s your GPA? And major?

@krishalynn
They may have determined that you didn’t meet all of the TAG requirements. If you think there’s a mistake you can always appeal. Call admissions on Monday and ask why you were rejected, they’ll be able to explain it to you. And if you think their reason for rejecting you was in error then you should appeal.

I believe that is a mistake only if u followed the requirements for TAG. call!

Is there more batches of UCSD? Apparently, I’m still pending.

@ aniciengammoner,

Yeah idk. I guess it means we were only accepted to the campus. It just surprised me because I have a 3.91 gpa and I only have one chemistry class missing.

Rejected

Chemistry
3.5
Non-TAGed

@KrishnaLynn
Do you have 60 UC Transferable units?
Do you have a 3.5+ UC GPA (end Fall 2012 on)?
Will IGETC be completed by this spring?
UC English and Math courses done by Fall 2012?
Fill out TAG form in Sept and checked off TAG/IGETC boxes on the UC app?

If no to any of those, that’s why. If you met all that I would call on Monday.

I did the “university link” through MiraCosta College–it’s like a modified TAG with only a minimum 3.0 requirement. I have 62 units, 3.07 GPA, IGETC and all the classes I needed. I met with a counselor to make sure I had everything okay and I was approved for it.

mine is still pending? is that normal? are they still coming out today??

Basically my community college is local and negotiated with UCSD to allow TAG for these students that are under 3.5 because the requirements changed after we had enrolled–long story but it works the same as TAG.

Still pending also :/

@IAmSoCal
Last year there were 3 batches with one that came out around this time (I think Apr. 22nd last year?) and then there was a third batch and a batch of rejections that came out within a week after.

@ancientgammoner
If you TAGed and you applied to an impacted major, it means that you weren’t competitive enough to gain admission to your major’s department, but your TAG allowed you admission to the university as an undeclared major. If you choose to enroll you’ll be allowed to select a non-impacted major.

3.4
no tag
visual arts/media - not impacted.
ADMITTED! sixth college

ps: I checked the site at 2 pm, and there was nothing, checked again at 530pm and there it was. soo, yours might change today too.

are they going to release more today??

Still pending. *** sd!
