@pinkpig but isn’t the requirement a passing grade of a C? Or is it different?

@clam me too, got into ucsc but i think ill take another year at a cc over that

@Actraiin, well, I am an International student, holding F-1, so I needed B or better for English 101, otherwise I had to take TOEFL to make up for it. lol

@nitole yeah? What’s yer major? If I get rejected from ucsd, I’ll have no choice but to stay another year :/

Ah makes sense. =] thanks for answering ALL my questions I really appreciate it. I’m just scared haha

If you have a 3.4, it’ll be hard getting in with an impacted major. I shouldn’t be talking since I applied with a 3.34
but my major isn’t impacted at all

Anyone know of how difficult it is to change which college you want to go to? I was accepted for chemical engineering for the Roosevelt college, I want to change to Warren since it appears to be the main engineering school.

^

[The College System: FAQ](http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students/colleges/about/FAQ.html#switch)

You might be able to switch if you can prove it will dramatically reduce your time until graduation, or if you find someone at orientation that wants to switch from Warren to Roosevelt.

That looks like its for people who are already attending the school. I would want to change from the start.

All you can do is ask at orientation, otherwise you’ll have to petition but that requires you to have certain classes completed and/or a very good reason like dramatically reduced time until graduation. They aren’t just going to change you to Warren because you’re an engi major and that’s where most are. You can be any major in any college.

congrats on all of our acceptances! does anyone know how to change our majors ?
