** 2012 UCSD Transfer Decisions Thread **

Why does the site say function unavailable? Is this happening for anyone else?

^ Works fine for me…

works fine for me and I am still pending

Major: Electrical Engineering
Gpa: 3.77

ACCEPTED into Earl Warren !

Yay me :)

still pending cool. I predict I’ll find out from Berkeley, Irvine, and SD on the same day…NEXT WEEK :frowning:
how many of you think you will pick SD though? I am starting to hesitate after constantly hearing so much about the unhappiness there…

so is the last batch going to be all rejections? Were there some acceptances in the last batch last year? :((

i thought the last batch was, acceptance and a rejection batch comes after.

on the same day??

@uchappytrain It looks like the last batch will be mostly rejections and few acceptances.
So far none of the transfer students got rejected yet, and I believe majority of the acceptance already rolled out. All we can do now is pray!

^^ there were three that posted that they were rejected yesterday. And from last year’s thread there was a good amount of people being accepted the last week of April. I seriously wouldn’t be that worried because there was also someone with 3.7 and tag that was still waiting after yesterday

Decision: Accepted

Okay no. There have been people accepted on April 30 around 6 PM with pretty low GPAs. They save acceptances and rejections for last…but theres a big chance you can be accepted on April 30.

Anyone as low as 3.2? lol

Feels bad man.
http://www.abload.de/img/feels-bad-frog-330x33rcud6.png</a></p>

^LOL at the picture. Uhm, I know there are a couple 3.1 or 3.2’s I’ve seen here…but honestly I think your chances are slim with a 3.1 even if you’re applying to a non-impacted major. Admission gets harder and harder each year.

Well I’m around 3.3, which is still a slim chance. But I’m really hoping for the best. It seems like I’m going to get rejected from everywhere I applied to :|

Yeah I agree with acoustic. I mean if there were only rejections left why not release them already? Lol. They’re still reviewing and accepting people. I hope I’m one =p

I’m around a 3.3 too! I think MAYBE 3.3’s would have a better chance than 3.2’s.

@RagingZero: Did you apply to an impacted major? I think if you applied to a major like sociology like I did, you’d have a good chance. My CCC counselor told me I’m 90% in at UCSD with a 3.3 and Sociology. She was positive too. I guess we’ll see but I’m not only saying this bc I have a 3.3. I think 3.3 is good enough for a non impacted major

Raging: I applied and I have a 3.0 right now. Don’t feel bad. Ur in a better standing than me.
