Nil777: Nope. Decisions and appeal decisions will probably be made before spring grades even come out.

^^ I wish but I doubt it. I’m getting all A’s again this semester I’ll be at like a 3.55ish. I’m pretty sure that wouldn’t be fair to people who wont have their grades by June 1 though. You could always call and ask though. I could be wrong (hopefully!).

I wish it was like that too
I wish they would let us at least include winter grades!

I think my spring grades will be out before may is over so if that happens I’ am definitely giving them a call.

wish i was a part of the transfers to ucsd thread
hopefully i’ll get to post on it in june :D

just curius but im pretty sure we didntneed to send official transcripts to ucsd prior to admission am i right?? please answerrrrrrr

@got2have yeah official transcripts don’t get sent until AFTER you get admitted + decide to go, unless a college specifically requests that you send in a transcript before admission.

I have a question regarding PL (planned courses). I was admitted to UCSD as a Biochemistry and Cell Biology major even though I was missing lots of prereq classes (I’ll most likely place as a undeclared). The problem is, I have Chemistry 1B as a PL course on my UC app for Spring 2012 but I never took the class because it was full. Will this be a huge deal?

@got2have
no, you did not have to send in your transcripts before your admission.

Is there a facebook group for transfer students that were admitted in Fall of 2012?
maybe I’ll make one ;)

@ayyjeffrayy DO IT!!!

Are we all going to meet on transfer admit day? We should all have lunch together and put faces to names/screen names. Lol

No one else at my school has been on these forums…aren’t we the nerdy bunch! ^_^

I have questions about housing,
I just applied for the Village, but haven’t SIR’d UCSD yet. ( I still want to see Santa Barbara before I make a final decision. )
Will a late SIR affect my chances of getting a single room?
or a late housing application?
Anyone knows how do they manage the room assignments?
Does it matter when you apply as long as you apply before June 1st?

@Nitole

Same here ![]()
Hopefully the month of May will fly by. BTW, I was looking at last years wait-list thread for UCSD, they started taking people off the wait-list starting June 3rd.

35 days… lol im still going to transfer admit day though… ill just pretend i got in until they tell me i was rejected
haha

@Nitole
It’s a public event they won’t mind you going. See you there!

@Lanquide
It doesn’t matter when you do the first housing app. What is important is the email they’ll send you in June (to your UCSD email).

@shrtcakez
I agree all the CC people should meet up, even get our own tour group, etc. :D

@Nitole

When is Admit day for UCSD again? I would love to go too, especially since its a public event and us wait-listers can join. Hopefully I will see/meet you there :).

Has anyone finished their 200 word essay?
