^ May 12th

@UCKITTYCHEN: NOOOO not yet. Don’t stop believing. Hold on to that feeling.

thank you jdom!!

I think all of us meeting somewhere sounds fun :)

Question. I still haven’t received my admit packet in the mail and it’s been 2 weeks since the online decision came out. I’m just worried, cuz it says I need one of the items in it to go to transfer day on May 12.

Waitlisted at UCSD

Accepted to Berkeley

ye breh come at me

^ both are great schools! are you planning on going to Cal?

@breaker
The decisions just came out last friday so it has only been a little over a week. I wouldn’t worry about it seeing how transfer admit day is still 2 weeks away. There is still a lot of time.

@nitole I want to go to, but its gonna be weird if I just show up and then get rejected later…

@Phanee stay positive!

Damn, I didn’t even think to go cuz it would be too weird. But if we all go, we can turn it around!

I just dont want to miss anything if I do get accepted in June! Plus it will be fun no matter what. My dad has never been with me to see a college so since UCSD is by far my favorite I’m bringing him :)

I thought transfer admit day was open for everyone, but you have to be an admit to go to the actual departmental sessions/go on departmental tours/etc…

If not, then why do they want you to bring your admit lanyard from the admit packet and pick up a badge and stuff?

^The VIT badge is just to get free stuff around campus. Anybody can go to any of the dept sessions, at least from the sessions I went to at Triton Day. I was even able to get free lunch and go on the CS dept tour without having a badge lol. The thing is there is so many people around that looking for every person with a badge + their family wouldnt be practical.

12 days 'til free stuff :D

Oh shizzzzz - free stuff!?

Radness.

I love free stuff.

Does anyone know if Fall 2012 admits are eligible to take Summer 2012 classes?

Yup, free stuff. That’s what the admit day email said anyways.

You can take summer 2012 classes, but you pay the visiting student fees not current UCSD student fees. (since technically you’re not really enrolled until Fall 2012) Of course, I can’t find were I saw that once.

Noooooo, you pay current student fees.

[Summer Session - UCSD Students - Tuition & Fees](http://summersession.ucsd.edu/UCSD-Students/students-tuition.shtml)

“In addition, students admitted to the Fall Quarter following Summer Session are considered continuing students for the purpose of summer fee calculation.”

Even better.

am i going to miss anything at transfer admit day? cuz i would really hate to miss stuff ><
