I got a 32 **** yea

If I got a 32, does it mean that I have a good chance to be a finalist? Should I be studying or is it not likely?

you never know, right?

So is it just top 20? Is there any “honors” or “high honors” like chem oly?

did you guys find out from your teachers or were the scores on your student page?

Nope, it’s either u make it or you don’t

On my end, scores showed up on both my page and my teacher’s

My scores have disappeared from the Student Center as well as the Teacher Center. Has this happened to anyone else?

My score disappeared, too, and it’s happened to everyone else I asked from my school.

@darksigma - out of curiosity, now that you know your score, and there has been the chat about the questions on the test, do you know which ones you missed and what the correct answers are?

Odd. S’s score is gone too.

I can probably explain why they are disappearing. The director replied back to me about my scores not being up and she said they had an issue last night. She said that she’ll email back when they go back online. I can only guess that they’re resetting the whole system or something so the rest of us who haven’t gotten them yet get them…

I hope I do well :)

whew, made semifinalist cutoff. Now I have to study some more…:(

This is kind of bittersweet.

I was sort of hoping to relax the rest of my senior year. I wasn’t even going to take USABO until the day before, but then I did. I got a 26, so it looks like I’m studying for the Semifinalist Exam :)

Hello, this is my first post to this thread, but I have been following it for quite a while. I am only a freshman, but I have been preparing diligently for the semifinal exam and am very experienced in Biology Olympiad.

With a lot of effort, my score on the Open Exam turned out to be a 41. I waited until my score came out to make my first post, but I will post frequently in the future. Btw, congratulations to last year’s finalist darksigma on your score, and I would love to know what oldguy got (I’m thinking he’s the 42.)

@Veezbo: Just saw your facebook image post - gratz. :)

So Maine is not even on the list? Why does that not surprise me in the least! Geez. Sometimes I think “science” is a bad word here.

^ Silly Maine
