I wrote two essays.
- I wrote about how my personal experience and choices affected the course of my life and how they led me to become a stronger person.
- My second essay was titled “The Importance of Tenacity.” It was about how a tenacious attitude is important to accomplishing goals in life.

Both of my essays were exactly one page, single spaced, 12 point font, and in my opinion they were fantastic.

Even though I haven’t posted on this forum just wanted to throw in some positive input. Also received my admission status from the Cockrell School of engineering and was admitted to Mechanical Engineering. Although my second choice of major, it was what I wanted to do since high school graduation and can get the same job as my first choice (petrol). Coming from local 2 year college, 3.8 gpa. Good luck to everyone!

Accepted!!! to Aerospace Engineering first choice…

My status is still “Complete/On time”, not even “In review”. Maybe I have to go to Texas State. :-((. GPA 3.81, over 30 credits, just haunted by foreign universities’ degree. Poor me!

@dpayan7 I did! I have a 3.43 but I should have at least a 3.56 by the time I send in my second transcript (I might actually have higher than that though). I applied to UGS as well. I’m not going to lie, I’m not relying on getting accepted to RTF but hopefully I can at least get into UGS.

I’ve applied to COLA- English and still haven’t heard anything. It says my app is “in review”. This wait it killing me! I’m transferring from DCCCD with 35 credits (48 after this semester) and a 4.0 GPA.

I thought with a 4.0 I’d be in, but now I’m getting nervous. >.<
