Looks like it, Preston. I’m a psych major, so I’m still waiting on COLA, myself. Looks like a couple of COLA admissions so far, but not many. Still in review for me. Just trying to keep my anxiety to a minimum after this long of a wait! Moments like these almost (ALMOST) make me wish I still smoked. lol

@Mark1287 is physics your first choice? I choose business as first choice and physics as second. but I havent taken any business indicator course…

Still waiting on COLA linguistics…my heart was literally POUNDING when I checked mystatus a few minutes ago. I guess no news is good news…I hope anyway.

OMGOMOGMOMG

Current in-scool GPA, excluding courses taken 10 years ago: 3.85, many honors courses
Actual UT transfer GPA: 3.76
Credits: 110 total + 8 in progress, only 60-something of which are transferrable
ACT (2001): 26 composite, 30 writing (which should tell you how atrociously I did on math portion!)
3 letters of rec. from biology, philosophy & govt. profs
Phi Theta Kappa member
Lots of volunteer work & lab experience; worked as a psych nurse for the last decade
1 stellar essay; 1 utterly atrocious essay not even proofread, written the night of the deadline.

*To anyone sweating a recent semester flub, I withdrew from not 1 but 2 courses last semester - precalc and bio II, both of which are clearly crucial to my major; I had never withdrawn from a single class previously, started out with 17 hours (TOO MANY!) and I’m taking calc I this semester sans precal, but moral of the story: one rough semester, even a recent one, does not put you out of the running. (I didn’t even address the circumstances of last semester in my application, though I probably should have.)

Oh, and I have a GED. 3 cheers for dropout success stories!

Congratulations to all those above who were also put out of their misery in today’s wave!

Extra special congratulations to those who helped me keep my sanity over in the “Talking Nerdy” thread these past few days/weeks.

To all those still forced to play the dreadfully miserable waiting game for even one day more, I wish you all the very, very best and GLGLGLGLGLGLGLGLGLGL! The end is near!!!

Just received my acceptance for COLA- English. Must have happened very recently because I checked this afternoon and it was still “in review”. However, does anyone else have their admission page say that they need to submit high school transcripts?? I thought transfer students didn’t need to submit HS transcripts?

BTW my stats:
GPA: 4.0
Credits: 35 (48 after this semester)
No recs
Good essays
Good resume and volunteer work

Also, because I know some people are wondering (or at least I was):

No email notification of a status change received, just logged in and found the new banner along with a different set of “to-do” list items below. Not sure exactly what time it was updated, but I had last logged in ~1-2 PM this afternoon and it still showed “In Review.”
