@alybaker: Mine says HS transcripts needed as well; I read somewhere on BeALonghorn that this is to double-check for past credits that satisfy degree requirements so they don’t make you take something you’ve technically already completed (e.g. Junior High/HS foreign language credits).

OK guys, now that we’re accepted, what are you guys planning to do first? Be advised? In addition, I haven’t even filed my FAFSA or any scholarships. I’m kinda worried.

Oh man… So happy for all of you. I truly am. Some of you have come so far to get to UT, and your stories are pretty incredible.

On the other hand, I can’t help but begin to feel nauseous knowing the spots are disappearing and I won’t find out until late May…

OH GAWD. THE WAITING GAME. I DON’T WANT TO RIDE THIS STRUGGLE BUS FOR THE NEXT MONTH.

@ acceptmepls

I’m with you on the feeling nauseous. It’s like this whole thing is a test of your endurance and mental fortitude. I almost don’t even care if I’m rejected at this point. I just need to know. If I’m rejected, I know how to deal with that. If I’m accepted, I’ll know how to deal with that, too. I just don’t know how to deal with the waiting and not knowing while all the spots fill up. :S

@ Mark

Dude, you should do your FAFSA as soon as humanly possible! Some need-based aid is first come first served. I think the scholarship application deadline already passed, too, unfortunately.

My application still says in review CNS - physics

accepted COLA
GPA:3.6 big ten university
killer essay and ECs

GL to everyone thanks for all the support hookem

@deadxpoetics - I know the feeling, my friend.

God do I hope a 3.5 is good enough for COLA in May

For those who are accepted, what does your address bar say?

Mine is "<a href="Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request;

Is yours “mystatus/admission/03/”?

no mine is.

"<a href="Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request;

@acceptmepls: I think we’ve talked about this before… I was pretty sure I would be waiting until May as well since I haven’t completed indicator courses. Not the case. You might get a decision sooner than you think!

@FreeThinker90,

Mine says:

<a href=“Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request”>Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request;

Why do you ask? I presume you have a theory about the significance of the last digit? Now I’m insanely curious…

hey guys,
is there any engineering person who didn’t here back? because i didn’t…does it mean i won’t get in? (super scared)

Just got accepted into COLA

Stats:
Gpa: 3.625 (40+ hours) @ HCC
2 strong essays
& lots of work experience

So stoked - hook 'em :)

@WhatevDude - I suppose it’s possible that they would do that, but unlikely considering McCombs is my first choice. Also, you have a lot more credit hours than I do. I have 30 right now and 46 by the end of spring. I also have my last 2 of the indicator courses in progress and they know that, so they’ll probably wait.

Is anyone who applied for summer still waiting??

mine is <a href=“Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request”>Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request;

now i’m curious about what you think it means…

Uttransfer I applied for summer and am still waiting

About the URL being …admission/00/ or /01 or /02 etc, I really don’t think it has any significance to the actual admissions process. You can log out of MyStatus and log back in to any of them.
