2013-2014 school year?

anyone know when we can apply for next year? i'm just really excited from seeing everyone's decisions come in!!!

Let us get through today?? Just kidding… if you are looking at schools more than 200 miles away you can see some during the summer, otherwise, interviews start in September, everything due January 15 except the ones that are due February 1st LOL… Then March 10th will fall on a Sunday so I don’t know what Andover will do since Fedex doesn’t deliver on Sundays… they might have to get with the new technological age :)

What grade are you guys applying to for 2013-2014?

In the highly probabe chance I get my Deerfield and Andover rejections, I’ll be with y’all guys next year applying for 10th grade.

^ me too, ten char

thanks! is there like a new application that goes up on gateway that i have to wait for? Andover is my first choice, so i wonder what theyre going to do(:
and i’m applying for 9th grade xDragonFlyx

@beeba13,

I admire your enthusiasm, but am wondering why Andover is your first choice? It seems a lot of kids says they want to go to PA but cannot articulate why they prefer PA over other school.

I’m not trying to discourage you, but just trying to help you to pick a school that is right for you for reasons you can identifiy. This is the 2nd year I’m watching a lot of kids’ dreams get crushed on 10-March.

I hope all of those who applied today got what you all worked so hard for.

However, for those (re)applying for the 2013-2014 school year, wait to inquire information until after April 10th, which is when the most recent round of applicants confirm there position at a school.

Then the admissions start to prepare more for the next round of applicants.

@beeba13,

I admire your motivation, but I wholeheartedly agree with GMTplus7. You should be able to answer why Andover is your first choice. If it is the only school you have looked at, I recommend looking at more. It might be the right place for you, but you don’t know until you have looked at different schools and compared them. Be open minded. The “name brand” of a school or the prestige isn’t as important in your time there as the fit of the school for you is. Don’t let anyone tell you different.
