<p>My teachers/counselors have been saying that the current junior class is pretty dull compared to the other years at my school. Has anyone else been hearing this, or is it just my school? I'm from California.</p>
<p>Lol teachers at my school say they’ve never had such a strong and smart class… :P</p>
<p>Which I actually believe because the grade cutoff for just the top ten is a 97, and in past years, the valedictorian has had about a 96 average ^.^</p>
<p>I’ve been hearing the same from my teachers and counselors, but I’m not part of the 2013 class so I can’t personally say. So far, school administration over here is most excited about the 2014 class.</p>
<p>^ Wow, it’s exactly the same for my school. The class of 2013 is fairly unimpressive compared to the class of 2014. Many of the 14’ers are taking the same advanced classes as the 13’ers (and doing better in them).</p>
<p>Yeah, my counselors are psyched about the sophomores too! Not so much us.</p>

Sounds like the class of 2011 at my school. Insanely competitive, but all wonderful people.</p>
<p>to be honest, I’m really glad that this is what I’ve been hearing (at least in my school) as it makes standards lower…</p>
<p>2013 was known as the “slacker” class at my school, up until the beginning of this year. we really kicked our butts into gear though, and now we’re almost as loved as 2012.</p>
<p>Class of 2010: Geniuses, all of them… geniuses
Class of 2011: Everyone hated them
Class of 2012: They suck at college admissions
Class of 2013: Smarter than the former two and expected to do better in admissions</p>

2010- amazing
2011- the best class my school had seen.
2012- okay-okay. huge difference between the smarties and the people who didn’t care.
2013- blehh
2014- crazy good. very, very competitive</p>

<p>2013 is a weak class. In that class there is only one person with straight As.
2012 got 2 people accepted to princeton and >10 people got into UCLA.</p>

<p>My teachers have been saying the same thing to us. The sophomores are majorly competitive though, we’re apparently slackers though.</p>
<p>I’m a freshman, and all I’ve noticed is that class of '14 (in my school) is really stupid in comparison. Our class (Which I’m pretty sure is less impressive than '13 and '12) had 15 people ranked #1 after our first semester. '14 after their first semester of freshman year only had like 7-8. Also '14 accounts for mid-50-something percent of all referals, suspensions, etc given in the school.</p>
<p>2011-No one to top schools
2012- best class in a long time - 8 NMSF, one goin to Princeton, another to Notre Dame, another to Duke, another to UVA
2013-my class hopefully i’ll get into a top school, not really strong academically though</p>
<p>Our classes of 2009 and 2010 were good. 2011 was weak. 2012 (my class) is incredibly strong. The drop-off from 2012 to 2013 is astounding.</p>

2011- obnoxious class. No one got into the top schools. The best school was probably brown or cornell(everyone gets into those) most went to GW or NYU-_-
2012- FREAKING SMART MAN! Not as fun as 2011(nerdy)…but smart! Like we have over 15 people get into the ivys 2 people got into Harvard, 2 into Princeton, one into Wharton UPENN…Hard to compete
2013- We are fun but smart at the same time, have no idea how we will turn out for next year (nervous) but i doubt we will top '12, we will probably be in the middle of dumb and genious…normal.lol.
2014- They always say when your a freshman…you end up like your seniors…lol.</p>
