??? HOW? That’s crazy

We are just starting Chapter 24 on Carnegie, Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan, etc.

Yep, we’ve gotten to industry and industrial captains too.

Took my APUSH semester 1 exam a couple days ago. Wasn’t easy nor hard, but I could have sworn that half the questions came straight from Larry Kreiger’s “The Essential Content.” I think I’ll get an A with the curve, which might be huge since most people thought that it was hard.

We’re also on the industrial/commercial era.

Is the 2010 AMSCO book still okay to use? Is it up to date?

And does the fact that my class just finished the reconstruction put me behind?

Hey guys i have a bunch of practice apush questions. I have tests for individual chapters as well as practice ap exams.
I took it as a frehman last yr. 800 sat 2 5 on ap. i also have an ebook sat2 prepbook.

teacher is incompetent. i am listening to her rant about a random topic as i type this.

Start 3rd quarter today ;)

We’re up to industrialization as well, Carnegie all that stuff, but other classes are further behind. Studying for my midterm, how are the hippo campus videos I just started to watch them did anyone else watch them or find them helpful or not?

Right now we’re starting the Progressive Era.
Just got past the Gilded Age.

Not in AP USH anymore, but thought I throw this up for you guys. This Kaplan AP USH Express book helped me a lot last year. Nobody ever mentions it…when my mom got me it I thought at first it was useless but then realized it is good for the last minute stuff.

Pretty much, it is a really short review book only about 100 pages. Pretty much, it is useful for studying the week before the exam to just refresh your memory on the basic gist of the everything right before the exam. If you are determined, you could read it in a day. I read it twice completely.

Though, I wouldn’t JUST use this book…because it doesn’t provide everything…thats what good ol Barrons is for. This just for the last minute tl;dr info you need to know for the exam. Helped me get my 4.

Here it is on Amazon for $10 [Kaplan AP U.S. History Express: Kaplan: 9781607147862: Amazon.com: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Kaplan-AP-U-S-History-Express/dp/1607147866)

You could probably find it used on Ebay or an ebook version for half of that.

Cheers, good luck on the exam :)

Awesome thanks. Now how can I remember this is April/May… That reminds me does anyone know when the test date is?

May 15th is the test date.

My class moves so quickly compared to the other APUSH classes at my school, week after midterms we had an essay today, tomorrow a test and then moving onto the progressive era. Of course the AMSCO review book does the gilded age in 4 chapters, yay studying

I thought our school was slower than other schools, but were are about to start World War I this week and if we are quick enough, we might start the Glorious 20’s by Friday…

I am set to start World War 1 this week.

Omg my class just started chapter 23. are we doomed? Looks like there will be some more snow days…

We just got Wilson elected…But this whole week is dedicated to a 3-day test and 2 DBQ practice days…Not looking forward to that :(

We just got finished with the Spanish-American War and Teddy Roosevelt’s first election.
Panama Canal, all that.
Sounds like we’re a little behind.
The regular US History classes in my school are somewhere in the 1960’s though.
