I just registered here to ask a question for my first post. :)

Is it true that Engineers are to last the get their answers? I saw someone posted this. :/

I’ll probably post full stats after Berkeley transfer decisions come out to avoid the risk of people figuring out who I am; my extracurriculars/awards are specific enough that it’d be fairly easy for someone to figure out who I am. Not that it matters, but I’ll post those stats under my main account on this site, since I use this one purely to remain anonymous.

Anyways, accepted!

UC Intercampus Transfer from UCSC

UC GPA: 4.0
Major Pre-reqs Completed: Yes
Intended Major: Linguistics
TAG: No
IGETC?: Yes

I have no decision… Does International student from OOS always need to wait till the end of April? Any accepted from OOS?

Do we have to click on anything once we long in to the application website, or does the notification pop up right on that screen?

^Not exactly.

Looks like UCSD is releasing decisions for all of the high GPAs again first. Congrats!

ACCEPTED! (mail packet)
Earl Warren College (First choice)

UC GPA: 3.81
Intended Major: Physics with Specialization in Astrophysics
TAG?: Yes
IGETC?: Yes

Are they going to keep releasing decisions throughout the day?

Okay… Then where would I navigate to to find the status of my application?

I have a 3.95 transferable GPA with all the pre-q completed plus some like math. I applied for Mechanical Engineering with Warren as my first choice. I’m still anxious to hear their decision. Sorry for repost this question but is it true engineers hear their application status last?

Oh, my application status is still saying that they are evaluating applications.

@Waterox, from what I’ve read about last year’s decisions, engineers tended to get decisions in April

In last year’s thread, decisions were released throughout the day, all the way into the wee hours of the next day (1-2 am).

I think the next batch after that would be mid-April and then at the end of April. =/

Decision: Accepted

UC GPA: 3.94 (after fall 2012)
Major Pre-reqs Completed (Y/N): Calculus 1 in progress, Calculus 2 planned; rest completed
Intended Major: Economics (Muir)
TAG?: Yes
IGETC?: Yes

Extracurriculars (clubs, leadership, volunteer, work): Real estate internship, tutoring, and some ECs from HS (clubs and volunteering)
Applied for Financial Aid?: Yes
State (if domestic applicant): California
Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Female
Attending Transfer Admit Day? (if admitted): Undecided.

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected (strengths/weaknesses): Probably GPA.

Congratulations to everyone!

@UCBLABP Thanks for your quick answer. I’m still gonna check my status daily but at least now I know that their decision for my major is in April. :/

I have a 4.0 GPA and I haven’t heard. Application site says still reviewing, nothing in the mail for me today. Ugh. This is really hard hearing everyone else get decisions. Any Regents scholars in those accepted today?

I still get the MyApplication is currently unavailable message.
