lol your not alone my friend. :(

I get:
The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.

Don’t know what this means

This is what mine says, “The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.”
But I don’t know if this is a change as it is the first time I’ve looked at it. I don’t intend on living on campus.

My message has not changed yet, it still says:

“Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact The Village Residential Services Office at 858-534-9380 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 6pm.”

Hopefully I am one of those people who get accepted but don’t get the message changed until I hear from them. also for those who have been accepted what does it look like when you sign in? and has anyone gotten rejected yet?

^ Mine hasn’t changed either but I have a campus email address and I’m allowed to authorize payers for my bills…

Both messages sound pretty vague though… And I also indicated in my FAFSA that I will not be living on campus.

In case it matters to anyone, UCSD has just announced at all undergrad biological science programs are no longer impacted (restricted). Anyone who wants to declare in bio science can. Their websites are supposed to be updated to say that.

I also have heard that admissions is still releasing transfer admit info in batches - probably this Friday (tomorrow) and next Friday would be it. Supposedly we’ll hear one way or the other. Supposedly.

@TippytheCat, Where did you hear that the batches will probably be out tomorrow or next Friday?

mine has changed,

it shows “The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.”

I am not sure if it changed to that recently.

In regards to the housing trick,
i got

" The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu."

I never checked it before though so it’s still pretty ambiguous.
I did, however, TAG with UCSD.
Are you guys getting the same thing as I am?

@nerissa924

Nope, I’m getting, “Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact The Village Residential Services Office at 858-534-9380 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 6pm.”

No tag

Decision still pending

my decision is still pending too and I applied to an “impacted major” so said
so i’m not sure if TAG can save me.

Are the different messages suppose to mean something?

That’s what we were trying to figure out with no avail. I also applied to an impacted major.

Isn’t there a batch coming out today or was I wrong?

Just rumors it seems, people believe that the next batch will come tomorrow.

Hi. I heard the bit on batches from someone at the school. Plus TAG should get you into the school as long as you did everything you were supposed to and have a 3.5 or better GPA in your transferring courses. It won’t get you into any given major, but it’ll get you into the school. Which is the overall objective. Or, at least, that’s what I keep being told.
Still waiting, TAG.

Mine also says: “The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today.
Are you guys able to get in Academic History (even though is not populated)? Does it mean anything?
<a href=“Link Family”>Link Family;

TAG (U-Link) UCSD, Biology, done with IGETC. 3.65 GPA…still waiting for decision.

Does this change affect us (students who applied for the upcoming fall semester), or next years applicants? Just wondering because its so recent. I was convinced all departments under the bio major are impacted.
@trippythecat

premedssi - This is what is on their website now

Admission to a Biology Major within the Division of Biological Sciences

As of Spring 2013, all biology majors are open to all undergraduate students. Any student may declare or change to one of the eight biology majors. Those who are admitted to UC San Diego, but not to one of the majors offered by the Division of Biological Sciences, may change majors once enrolled at UCSD.

Yes on the academic history page.

Worried that I didn’t get the housin messge change :/…
