@flowflower, I’m getting the same thing I did apply for FAFSA and confirmed a million times that UCSD was included in my application. I don’t know what it means that it’s showing they haven’t received it :(

@SBVett I’m thinking they probably received it fine and the message we’re getting is a default thing that will change… They should have a way to confirm they received it though :/

@flowflower…they just updated my financial aid tab this morning. It used to read as you stated that they don’t have my FAFSA info. Now it gives me a check list of items I need to do to receive my award.

Here is the link I went to: https://act.ucsd.edu/studentFinancialAward/entry

Still no decision yet for me. Housing message changed few days ago.

^ Mine says that too

We don’t have a record that you have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the year you have chosen.

Odd, my boyfriend’s housing message changed sometime last night/this morning but no change in the aid yet. I can’t believe they didn’t post any decisions yesterday or today so far :(

MY FINANCIAL AID SAYS THIS

is what mine says.

I’m not sure when, but within the last week (last time I checked) it has changed to:

Your financial aid application has been received by our office, but there is still further action you are required to complete.
Mandatory Tasks
Student complete 2012 IRS Data Retrieval via FAFSA
Submit Independent Verification Worksheet
Enroll in/Update Direct Deposit Account Information

Prior to that I had the message that they did not receive my FAFSA (& it did show UCSD on FAFSA.gov as my first choice).

This is the message I get when I click on “Housing”:

“Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated. Please contact The Village Residential Services Office at 858-534-9380 during our normal weekday office hours of 8am to 6pm.”

Am I F’d? I want to clarify, I do not know if it changed as I did not look at this link before today, but this is what it does say when I log on there.

@ucwolv that is the old status but it can change at any time. So no you are not F’d just yet.

^UCWolv Yea that’s the “bad” message I have it too, and it’s freaking me out. But it may change at any time!.. I hope

I really wish UCSD would just release decisions…

Like someone previously said on this thread, UCSD = UC Slow Decisions.

5pm… no decisions… -_-

No decisions!!!no way!!!!

Well that sucks if I get denied here too - I TAG’d UCSD. Denied from SB, SC, D so far. I only have a 3.07 GPA but I am an older student who came back to school 3 years ago. Since my return, I have a 3.85 GPA with honors courses while working 40 - 60 hours a week. I have repeated all my bad grades from before, so I literally can’t push that cumulative 3.07 up any more. Do these school not account for a trend GPA that shows that much of a difference? I had a .8 when I originally returned - not sure what else I can do to show how serious I am about school now.

@UCWolv Wait you TAGd and you didn’t get a change in housing message? Maybe that’s not a main indicator then? But don’t worry! Your upward trend can definitely come to play in an appeal letter if you do happen to get denied. I’m writing about the death of a relative and my upward trend in GPA after the incident if I get rejected/waitlisted :)

does anyone else’s FASFA say :

"We don’t have a record that you have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the year you have chosen.

To complete an application, go to [Home - FAFSA on the Web-Federal Student Aid](http://www.fafsa.ed.gov). If you did file an application, make sure that UC San Diego’s school code of 001317 is listed on your FAFSA. If you feel this is incorrect or if you have questions, please contact our office at finaid@ucsd.edu or by calling (858) 534-4480.

School of Medicine/Pharmacy students should contact the UCSD Health Sciences Financial Aid Office at (858) 534-4664."

@VAMWSZ Mine says that And I submitted FAFSA…

@VAMWSZ My boyfriend’s says that but he just checked his FAFSA earlier and it says he submitted it to UCSD. I think it’s just some kind of mistake with their system.
