<p>Hey everyone, currently i’m really really freaking out :(… It’s finally coming up on may 1st so I have to commit to a college but I really do not want to because I got waitlisted to Davis and Davis is BY FAR my #1 choice and “dream school”, if you will.</p>
<p>I’m really frustrated because I have no idea what my chances are of getting in off of the waitlist and its really heartbreaking committing to a different college that i don’t want to go to :(</p>
<p>I have to ask, because i’m absolutely clueless, if anyone has any predictions for how the waitlist will turn out this year? A lot of info about admissions has been released but I can’t determine anything from it but I know a lot of people on here probably can…Is there anyone else on the waitlist waiting with me? thanks!!</p>
<p>I am on the wait list as well and I have paid a deposit at a different school just in case.</p>
<p>I believe last years percentage of waitlist admission was .40</p>

<p>But his letter of appeal was really moving (I cried) about taking care of his grandfather each Wed this past year with Alzheimers and wanting to be at Davis for their research into this disease.</p>

<p>I am hoping a new “wave” of acceptance letters come out on Monday. This wait is killing me. I don’t want to go to a community college next year. I worked so hard to get to this time in my life. College admissions have been a nightmare. The competitive atmosphere takes students focus away from the simple joy of learning and forces their minds to think about how to play and win the game of college admissions.</p>
<p>I’m really worried too since my status hasn’t changed. Because they didn’t send out their acceptances in batches like irvine did, I doubt the waitlist responses are in batches. My stats are 3.8W and 32 on ACT. Also applied engineering. Hopefully there are more acceptances though…</p>
