I also noticed how there were a lot of singular plural questions on the test but they were all really easy!

@antarcticice101 the answer was 100 + 50sqrt(3)

What I’d like to know is how you all remember all these questions and what you put…I only remember a couple of them.

What was the writing one #16 with the greek goddess nike and her hair or whatever it said? was it C? does anyone at least remember if it started with ‘her…’ ??

What I’d like to know is how you all remember all these questions and what you put…I only remember a couple of them.
~

I’m remembering when other people say parts. so like when i read a sentence it all comes back lol

@nicksaban … is that the same one as the rectangle with a triangle on each side?

@dn4144 yeah it was C - her hair flowing and her dress rippling
or something like that

@dn4144

I agree with you because it had to be answer choice C. All of the other choices were faulty because they created comma splices and unnecessarily wordy fragments.

ok thanks that’s what I thought. It just seemed like a strange construction. that was the only one I wasn’t sure about in the writing section. knowing how i am though i probably screwed up one of the fixing the paragraph questions and 1-2 other easy questions

Can we please discuss the questions in the first dual long passages(the one about producing food)? I was unsure of some of my answers in that section…

@dn4
yup i put that as well.

@anarcticeice Yeah that one.

I got 186~ or 100+50root 3 for that pyramid question

im done- this thread is too worrisome haha. good luck to everyone and may the curve be ever in your favor! :)

Hey y’all, did you get that the answer to one of the questions about the paired long passages (the farming and food ones) that asked about what the response of the Passage 2 author would be to a piece of text from Passage 1 was something about it not fitting with historical trends? (I think A?)

@abs
i remember putting something like …
potatos/cows emphasize direct experience
in response to something : the author wouldn’t find it substantial.

For those of you with that math questions about a cube and 2 pyramids:

The answer is 150 + 25(sqrt 3).

potatos/cows = direct experience

passage a would like passage b because there’s minimal transport

@antarctic all the sides of the cube were five and the sides of the triangle were 5

@victorp and @nicksaban … I thought the square had a triangle on either side with sides 3,5, and ?
