@dns - Yep, I put that one.

For the cow passage, did you all put mock amazement for one the questions?

I said bring out truths because i believe the last sentence of the paragraph stated something as to how math revealed the truth of science or something along those lines…

Someone predict math curves pleaseeeee

@iwantpsatanswers (hahah your username) - I believe you had to add up all the students and subtract by 16. Forgot my answer.

i read and reread those last sentences… they really said nothing about truth
whatever well see

Can we go over the two CR questions on the passage about a newspaper’s women’s section and writing about women’s rights or something? Honestly I don’t really remember the questions but I know I had trouble with them. XD
I think I put “they wrote about progressive stuff before it was in the headlines” or something and “the directors were impassive towards women’s rights” but I’m pretty sure those are both wrong lmao

Btw I put mock amazement too

I had trouble with the passage about the women…I omitted one of the questions.

Oh and I put brings out truth for that question on the math passage

Today was a good day.

Not sure if I missed a question on the entire test. PM me if you have questions about specific problems.

I don’t have the patience to look through this entire thread but here are a few difficult answers as well as the probable answers for some of the ambiguous questions.

Writing
There were 2 E’s:
the one about the city that “had become” something and was then colonized by Rome
the one where the city council members are meeting to make sure that entities long since defunct are still carefully considered
The one about the plane is NOT no error. “When” should be changed to “than”
“they are her” not “it is her” or just “her”
Delete the sentence
and also

Up for discussion/u:
On the Henna passage, the author of passage 1 would say that if you exclusively appreciated the aesthetic qualities you would be:
‘missing out’ on other key aspects
For the cow passage, the author of passage 2 would say that the “choice” is:
Contrary to historical trends
For the improving paragraphs, the sentence that should be added before sentence 10 is that:
Much of the history of Africa is preserved only by the Griots’ oral tradition.

Please feel free to ask me to substantiate these answers.

Also; you may add to this post and then re-post it with your additions.

@catchinginfinity Yeah I feel like I should have too lol… Do you remember what you put for the one you didn’t omit?

@DumbAndLethal, what was the 0.67 from? Oh was that the one between like 5/8 and 11/16?

In the paragraph editing, did you guys delete the “has” before some verb?

when do scores come out?
what would a -8 in CR and -5 in Writing be?

@DumbAndLethal What was the question for caustic…trial? Was that the Hollister question? Can you explain bc I wasn’t sure about that one o:

for the black-eyed behemoth question was it most directly damaging to the transportation industry or to proponents of processed food? i had transportation industry at first but switched my answer to proponents of processed food since complaints seemed to be directed towards food processing as much as towards the 1000s of miles the food had to be transported

I put transportation industry o:

@dumbandlethal,

I highly doubt the CR answer is submissive…acquiesce. you may have gotten that one wrong because i remember it was looking for two contrasting things

Also, for the sentence that should be added before sentence 10, I picked "griots could sing, for instance, songs about “wisdom, patience…etc” because that fit the best after the previous sentence.

@bolkevlp
Transportation industry
They consume petroleum

@Supercoolturtles
Hollister’s movie was horrible
The critic had caustic words indicating criticism, negativity. The film itself would be a trial for Hollister’s fans cause it was bad and something like that
