@vic
yup thats what i put

@nico, @franky
passive and balk is what i put.
“she was not used to playing a passive role at board meetings and didn’t balk when presented with the mic?” or something like that

it was like

since she usually had a ____ role at board meetings, she _____ when asked to speak.

idek what the answer was looking back now i probably did terrible in the math and reading

@franky2020 was it something with demur?

for the MC math question (section IV i think)

it was like

a triangle has two sides, _ and _ (i forgot the exact values), and the third side is x

2<x<8

how many possible values of x exist in the triangle or something like that was the ?

did you get 1 or 2?

sorry for being lengthy but yea

@whyamisosmart I got 2

From the ones I can remember:
Vocab: aggregatecohere
tenuous
caustictrial
credulous

Reading:
for the historical statue one: led to like a precedent or something (Choice E) and depicted an unattractive man for second question

women newspapers one: like early progressors or something for the first question and conflicted with their own goals for second question

farming one: potato and cow show need for direct experience
noisily means conspicuously
the author of passage one would find it as not enough

tattoo one: view with appreciation
agree that it is a cultural phenomenon
second one is more critical

math reading one: the ceiling and faces are things that are not important
what is important is the movie
simile
diverse examples
main idea of third paragraph is to show that math can reveal truths
the sentence serves as a transition sentence
the main purpose is to show math is great or something

translator one: the man is exasperated with the previous translators
paragraph one is to lead to a contrast
smoothing things over means Gen is skilled at like doing tasks

math section (I’m just gonna list out random answers I remember):
44%
100 +50root3
1999
25 degrees
k=anything between 3 and 5
a=3
7 people both newspapers and candy
124 different people
180 different four digit numbers
x=180-y-z

didn’t balk when presented with the mic?" or something like that
^

did it say ‘didn’t’ in the sentence?

if it said didnt ____, then acq would be right because it would mean she didnt give in.

if there was no didnt and it said she balked, that would mean she refused because she was passive.

@why
i also got 2
lol i made too many careless mistakes on math D:

also
was one of the SC’s
surreptitious?

@stuff

It should be all 3…try x=1 and y=2

@rsl2797 I put k=3 exactly, do you remember if that question was inclusive?

oh for historical statue i put the one about comparing literature accounts to visual accounts, and depicted an unattractive man

@franky

Yeah, one of the correct answers is surreptitiously

@rsl2797 I got all the same answers for math

What did you guys get on that 1 sentence error questions with “be carefully…”? I put no error.

for the smoothing things over
i put he reconciled his image or something to that effect, i was thinking about the “skilled at like doing tasks” choice though

@rsl2797-

for the translator essay, what did you put for the one involving like imagination or thoughts or something?

I think I should get a 220+, provided that my CR is above 600, I hope…

For the one about:

She was not accustomed to being _____ at the school board meeting so she did not ______ when asked to take the mic to voice the parents’ concerns.

I, along with my boy stuffinthebaumel, put passive…balk.

However, I know “demur” means something similar to balk. Does anyone remember the first part of the “demur” answer?

She was not accustomed to being _____ at the school board meeting so she did not ______ when asked to take the mic to voice the parents’ concerns.

^ couldnt submissive and acquiesce work too then? she was not accustomed to giving in so she didnt accept when asked to talk haha
