@Cray77
Thanks!

So my college posted the test scores and I got all 5s! Woohoo! I took Micro, Macro, Physics C: Mech, and Calc BC.
Officially an AP Scholar with Distinction. =)

Have yet to see anyone to get lower than a 5 on BC calc.

@dragooner4: I think it was 44% 5’s for BC Calc… so yeah.

Macroeconomics: 2. LOL. I hope they liked my doodles.
Physics B: 3. Hardest. Freaking. Test. At least I passed.
Am. Gov: 4. That FRQ was a joke.
Calc AB: 5. Only one that really mattered, and I already got placed into Calc II. So all for naught.

Final Score:

AP Scholar with Distinction. UPGRADE!

Forgot to add, I got a 5 on European History as well. Probably a low one, I thought I was on the border.

5’s in Art History, Psychology (self-studied), English Lit, Microecon, and Calculus BC, 4 in U.S. Gov (self-studied). Honestly, I thought I got a 5 in Gov so I’m really disappointed, but I expected a 4 in Art so it balances I guess.

From what I can deduce by the amount of credit they’re giving me:
English Lit: 5
Comp Sci: 3-4
Gov: 3-5
BC Calc: 3-5
Physics C Mech: 3-5
Physics C E&M: 1-2

How didn’t I pull off a 5 in Comp Sci? It was so easy, and when my friends and I discussed some problems mine were always the apparent right ones.

Other than that, I’m not really surprised, but maybe I will be once the actual scores come in.

did MIT release scores yet?

AP Chemistry (second take): 5, I got a 4 the first time junior year.
AP English Lit: 4
AP Psychology: 5
AP Government: 4 (honestly ridic surprised)
AP Calculus BC: 4, subscore 4.
AP Biology: 3 (lol, so sad).

Junior year scores
US History: 3
English Lang: 3
AP Stats: 4
AP Chem: 4

I guess I improved as a student.

American Gov: 3
Microeconomics: 3
English Lit: 4
Physics B: Not displayed on my college’s portal, so I am assuming I didn’t pass this one.

Overall satisfied with the results.

AP Microeconomics:5 Studied a lot, but was worried I screwed up the FRQs.
AP Macroeconomics:5 Ditto.
AP English Lit and Comp: 3 Ouch! Not my strong suit but expecting a 4.
AP Calculus BC:5,5 Very proud about this one.
AP U.S. Gov and Politics:5 Expected.
AP Statistics:5 Confident beforehand but worried I misinterpreted some of the FRQs.
AP Environmental Science:5 Expected.

I honestly thought I would get 3s or 4s on the Econ exams because I had crammed for these and kept on making stupid mistakes on practice exams. I thought I screwed up the FRQS. English is my worst subject and my teacher barely prepared us for the test but I did get a 4 in Lang. I also was ill the day of the exam but I don’t think that affected my score significantly. I would like to know my class average on this exam. Calculus has been difficult for me so I am very proud of the 5 I got on the BC exam and AB subscore. Overall I am more than satisfied. I had taken 5 ap exams before senior year in which I had one 5 (APUSH), three 4s(AB, Bio, and Lang), and a 2 (Chem, self study).

AP Lang and Comp 4 … again *** needed a 5 for credit
AP Lit and Comp 3 … oh well
AP World History 3 … Slept through the FR
AP Psych 3 … self study… that i didn’t study for? ha
AP Env Sci 2 … senioritis ftw

Seniors are bad at AP exams? :D

Junior here, sent my scores to a college so i could get them early.
Chemistry: 5, glad because I knew they were going to change the curriculum. Very bad teacher.
Micro/Macro: 5/5 , excellent teacher, very good prep, made economics very interesting.

Calc BC: 5 Good teacher
Lang and Comp: 4 , I had a great teacher, very surprised on this one, usually made 3’s on the practice tests.

How do u get them if you sent them to a school? Please help.

Doesn’t seem like Michigan State’s put them up yet.

I’m probably going to have to wait until Saturday, but this is too much.

AP Comp Sci: 5
AP Stat: 5
AP Lit: 5
AP Bio: 5 (Pleasantly surprised)
AP Gov: 3 (Ouch)
AP Physics C Mech: 2 (Meh)

Hope these results help you guys worrying about curves:

AP Calculus BC: 5 - was pretty confident about this one, and I don’t think the curve changed much this year

AP Macroeconomics: 5 - was also relatively confident, good teacher, might have made a small mistake on the FRQ but the MC was pretty straightforward for me

AP Chemistry: 5 - the last of the tests I was confident on getting a 5, though I actually messed up on one of the FRQ’s and probably missed one of the balancing equations problems - curve was probably pretty generous on this one

AP US Government: 5 - went into this test expecting nothing, especially since I forgot to answer one part of a FRQ question, but pulled a 5 off somehow - the curve was probably rather generous this year

AP English Literature: 5 - bit of a crapshoot, since the first essay was a bit tricky with the family tree and whatever, but I guess MC pulled me. I’d say that as long as you had one or two very solid essays and a decent MC a 5 is attainable.

AP Spanish Literature: 5 - wow, really wasn’t expecting this one. The listening portion was difficult to understand, since they used a tinny phone call message for one of the passages. Also didn’t organize my thoughts well at all on the “dualidad de ser” prompt and BS’ed the “Caballo mago” FRQ. Guess the curve really pulled through on this one. Looking at the grade distributions for this year’s test, it’s a good chance that you passed - almost 80% got a 3 or higher.

AP Physics C: Mechanics: 5 - wow, pleasantly surprised, especially since I self-studied this and E&M. Thought the MC was pretty straightforward, but got destroyed on FRQ. Didn’t know how to do the majority of FRQ 1, just did the graphs and bs’ed the rest. FRQ 2 was the only one I’m pretty sure I got completely. I messed up somewhere in the middle of FRQ 3, so the answers for the second half were probably wrong. Somehow pulled a 5, so I’m assuming the curve was definitely better than the 50/90 on appass.com

AP Physics C: E&M: 5 - really surprised on this one, since I had to cram the entire course in about a month. Got partially destroyed on MC, guessed on somewhere between 5 to 10. Completely didn’t know how to do FRQ 1, because I’d never studied Gauss’ law for cylinders. Pretended it was a sphere and proceeded with it to get max partial credit. Was lost on FRQ 2 at first, but apparently guessed it right by taking the ln of voltage, so I’d say maybe 12/15 on this question. FRQ 3 was the only one I knew how to do pretty much completely, though I nearly ran out of time and might have made some careless errors. But overall, the curve for this must have been titanic. Don’t worry too much about this one if you thought you were borderline 4/5.

Gosh, thank you Lady Luck!

Wish I thought of dragooner4’s idea. I could send all my AP scores to a random college for free and then access them early.

There’s already another AP scores thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/1520760-ap-scores-2013-a.html

But I guess since this one is official, we will be using this one?

Chem - 4/5 FRQS were very scary
Calc BC - 5 -
APUSH - 4/5 depends on the essays, which I hope I did well on
Eng Lang - 4/5 I completely messed up my third essay :(

Fingers crossed

Lit: 4 (I was actually pleasantly surprised, this was the one I didn’t even try on and slept through most of it)
Psych: 4 (Just as I expected)
Calc AB: 3 (Also pleasantly surprised, I was convinced I failed since I left two whole FRQ’s blank)
American Gov: 3 (Ouch. I was really confident on this one too.)
