I’ve applied for the fall senate page session and want to know what my chances are of being accepted into it under John Cornyn. I am in all honors/AP classes, National Honor society, Debate club treasurer, have a Degree of excellence in the National Forensics League, compete in Extempt speaking events, LD debate, have done CX debate, student congress, and advanced to Regional levels of competition every year for LD debate. I have a good GPA, too. On holidays, I volunteer at a local museum and do programs with kids there.

How many people apply for the fall page session under John Cornyn? What are my chances of getting in with my ec’s listed above? I am anxious so ANY information would be useful! Thank you.

Hi. I’ve applied for the fall 2013 session under Cornyn. Do you mind telling if you were accepted for session you applied for, and if you did what your application was like? Thanks.

Not sure. Have you tried calling your senator’s office? If you call the main line they should be able to connect you to someone who handles selection. I called last week, but they hadn’t doled out spots from the majority/minority leader’s offices yet. If you do call, would you mind asking when spots were handed out and letting me know?

I’m going to a camp starting the end of this week and then a vacation, so I don’t know when I’ll be able to give Cornyn’s office a call. If I do have a chance to call his office or hear anything I’ll be sure to let you know, though.

Thanks! And my uncle is Senator Lee. He isn’t able to sponsor be because he is a junior senator but he got me in through Senator McConnel! Lee just called my house a week ago to let me know I was in, so I don’t know how it usually works ://

Does anyone else know if they got in? Also, Do you have to be interviewed to be accepted? I haven’t been interviewed so I’m wondering if I’ve already been removed from their final pool of selections.

Hey! Congrats to anyone that got accepted!
I am a freshman and I really want to do this, so I was wondering what kinds of things will look good on an application and can help me become selected under senator Mitch McConnell. I currently have a 4.125 GPA and I am in Mock Trial, Math team, French Scrabble, Science Olympiad, Golf and am in a very prestigious school band. I am planning on doing National Honors Society next year (Freshman are not allowed to do it) do you think my chances are good. Please be honest
