ahhhhhhhh im so scared i want to get in SOO badly but i dont think i will

There are soooo many great resumes in here. And this is just a very very very small portion of what Yale is going to see. Soo disconcerting.

What’s worse is that there is this awesome football player in our school who also happens to be a URM and incredibly smart. Yale doesn’t usually take more than 3 or so students from my school.

I’m gonna fail. FAIL.

Yale will probably take like 1 person EA from my school, and then maybe 2 or 3 more RD.

Haha, Yale usually takes approximately zero students from my school every year.

ditto ^^
We have one about every 5 years (it’s about time!), but Princeton takes two every year.

We’ve had a princeton admit about 7 years ago, a columbia SEAS EA admit 2 years ago, a brown RD admit 2 years ago (two people accepted at an ivy in the same year was a MAJOR accomplishment), and no ivies last year…

A total of three people in all my school’s existence went to Ivies. :(

Every year seems to dwindle because my school is literally going out of control!!

Yale, break this curse and say ‘YES’ on December the fifteenth…

…please?

[] Teacher Recommendation: One was FANTASTIC (i.e., instead of putting down “one of the top I’ve encountered in my career,” she wrote, “THE best student I have EVER encountered.”), the other… I have no idea.
