<p>post #7 - were able to see alternate major but got rejected. i think her post just scared me off from all ucla tricks. i would hate to be falsely led into thinking i got in to only get the rejection x__x if you guys find any other contradictions to the URSA major trick please post!</p>

<p>i know >__< this week cannot go by any slower. i don’t think i’m going to bank on the URSA updates until it says ADMIT but i dont think i heard of that happening for anyone until several hours before. sigh friday please come sooner</p>

<p>She was a chemistry major! Unless she was TAP, alternate majors are not considered. There is a big difference in putting chemistry as your first choice, and then something like anthropology. That just screams, “I’m going to be changing my major.”</p>

<p>@ucdrone yeah i did more research into this, if only i had this motivation for my classes, and found out she was accepted but then rejected after they further reviewed her application as one of her classes was non-transferrable thus failing to meet the unit cap. ahh maybe this is just one very rare case that will never happen again :X</p>
