2013 - UCLA - Checking Status w/ URSA

@ ibtocth

Yes, it does. It only works if you sign up for the Summer, check out the first pages on this thread.

@UCdrone
Um…it did not mentioned anything about signing up UCLA Summer Session Only Student (new, current, or former). It just said “Select new UCLA student.” Oh great. I have made a mistake. :(

I did the summer trick so now I am able to log into MyUCLA, but the white area under my name is blank. It doesn’t say Summer Session or my major.

Well this is what says on my enrollment message:
UC students who enroll in any UCLA Summer Sessions course(s) and later withdraw (drop all courses) are responsible for a $150 nonrefundable processing fee. Students who have yet to pay this fee will be charged accordingly.

Non-UC students will be charged a registration fee once enrolled or wait-listed in a Summer Sessions class. This registration fee is partially refundable if withdrawn by certain deadlines.

Students will be charged an Instructional Enhancement Initiative (IEI) fee of $8.00 per unit for most courses.

Materials use fee may apply for some courses.

NOTE: Enrollment and refund policies for impacted courses differ from those for non-impacted courses.

Please refer to [UCLA Summer Sessions-Home Page](http://www.summer.ucla.edu) for deadlines and policy guidelines.

All fees are subject to change without notice by action of the UC Regents. Once officially registered and/or enrolled, it is your responsibility to check your BruinBill Account and pay your balance as stipulated on the UCLA Summer Sessions website. Failure to pay could result in termination of enrollment, holds on academic records, and/or collection action.

By selecting CONTINUE you understand and agree to the above terms.

I did the summer session trick and so far I only see “summer session student” under my name on myUCLA, and no financial aid summary!

@ sumbum

If you signed up today, then you should see summer sessions student after 24 hours.

Would we get in trouble just for Selecting new UCLA student? I am literally getting really worried. :(

@ lbtocth

You click agree, you just don’t add any classes. You are simply agreeing to the terms of use. Please review the 2012 UCLA Transfer Decisions-Only TRICK Thread, check out post #164. And review the thread as needed for any more questions that you have.

@ lbtocth

This is simply signing up as a Summer Sessions Student. The program is available to ALL (whether you are CCC, Cal State, UC Student, etc.), not just UCLA students. If you are uncomfortable, please stop asking questions and just wait until Friday.

@sumbum is most likely in.

@sumbum
Mine is exactly the same as yours. It never said summer session, and I did the summer trick a week ago. Its just blank under my name

@ sumbum

What is your major? Isn’t the banner supposed to go blank and then your major? This is starting to look good for you.

I just did some stalking and sumbum is a Design Media Arts major (School of Arts and Architecture).
In another post he said he could see his financial summary as of 4/12! So it makes sense since our theory was that engineers and the art majors decisions were most likely finished.

Lmao @ ucdrone’s responses! You’re crackin’ me up over here. I like the sternness though.

LOL same^ it’s cuz everyone keeps asking the same questions and not reading the threads first!

hey guys, after clicking the “access MyUCLA class planner”, do you see a red exclamation mark next to “Fall2013” and a message “You have not yet indicated the courses you wish to take in Fall 2013 (why?)” ? I don’t remember seeing this last time.

You guys think that having a blank bar is a good sign???

^ did I just turn into the Hulk? I shouldn’t have lost my temper…

@ sarah989

I would think so, I remember reading about the banner going blank, and then showing the major before going blank again. I think I saw that in the 2012 Trick thread…good luck to you. I forgot your major, the stress is making me forget things!

@UCdrone
My bar is blank too so I hope its a good sign!!
No worries, I’m aerospace engineering! What are you?
Good luck to you too
