FSU has released their breakdown of tuition and fees for the 2014-15 year.

In-state undergrads will pay $215.55 per credit hour.
Out-of-state undergrads will pay $721.10 per credit hour.

In-state grads will pay $479.32 per credit hour.
Out-of-state grads will pay $1,110.72 per credit hour.

Plus a $20/semester facilities fee and $5/semester FSU Card fee.

I don't recall last year's rates off-hand exactly, so I unfortunately can't compare things directly right now. I do believe that any increases are minimal though (I believe grads in-state only went up about $2-3). Hopefully though this is helpful to some in planning out costs for the upcoming year, since I know that tuition is usually one of the last big costs to get released every year.

Do you know how the differential fee works? Is it based on how many hours you’re taking or is it a set rate?

I’m not sure 100% how accurate this is, but to me the differential fee has just been an additional fee to boost the cost of tuition. Basically, every undergrad is going to pay that additional ~ $50 per credit hour (unless they meet very specific requirements, which is getting more and more difficult to do). It’s a per credit hour charge, so if you take 12 credit hours you’ll be paying less than someone who takes 15.

To me, I just see it as a way to charge more for tuition without raising actual tuition since it’s a fee.
