Anyone going to Days on Campus? Is it true that Columbia pays for your trip?!

Columbia did not offer to pay for my son’s trip. (As an ED acceptance, and given his high school commitments at the time, he did not attend.) I believe, based on what I’ve read on this forum, that if you qualify for a program focused on URMs, you may get a free trip. In any event, you should go if you’re an RD acceptance. The experience is reputed to be magical!

Columbia is paying for travel for at least the RD admits if they ask. (Even trains for people like me!)

what do you mean by ask?
(second semester sr. here who just had an awesome april 1st = too lazy to do it her own darn self)

can’t edit… when i said “too lazy to do it her own darn self” i meant too lazy to see HOW i can ask for the reimbursement is there a letter in the pkg regarding this into? or is it online?

Does anyone know if what we’re NOT allowed to put up on the walls? [nails, adhesive, etc]? Are microwaves not allowed? Thanks!! :]

It’s in the packet and they email you.

I was ED and did not go to Days on Campus last year.

IT killed me to not go, from what my friends have said it was pretty much awesome.

deposit, is it necessary to fill out the admitted students questionnaires?
